Tomorrow and Tomorrow and Tomorrow by Gabrielle Zevin - Easily one of my top books of this year. A beautiful story about love, work, friendship and trauma all with the back drop of video games. What's not to love? #TomorrowandTomorrowandTomorrow #Book

The Last of Us (HBO) - Well in true HBO style, they've created some excellent television here. Expanding on the already amazing story, they managed to create so much more than a game adaptation. Really, really recommend this show! #TheLastOfUs #TVShow

The Menu (2022) - Proper, thrilling dialogue and unnerving setting. I really enjoyed this very unhinged story that takes aim at the idiocy of following your passion, and the ridiculousness of up market restaurants. #TheMenu #Movie

Beyond the Poseidon Adventure (1979) - I'm loath to post this as my last movie of 2023 but unfortunately it is. 90 minutes of watching people slowly climb around a ship with a bizarre plot hook about nuclear material on a cruise liner .#BeyondthePoseidonAdventure #Movie

The House (2022) - I love this style of animation and when it's paired with a dark comedy vibe I love it even more. Three short stories each centred on a most peculiar house, each with a bittersweet and disturbing vibe. #TheHouse #Movie

The Boy and the Heron (2023) - Beautiful as always from Miyazaki and an even more "out there" story even for Ghibli. Thoroughly enjoyed the story, however with the incredible visuals. #TheBoyandtheHeron #Movie

Strong Female Character by Fern Brady - Darkly hilarious and one of the best autobiographies I've read. Gives a brilliant insight into autistic women and just how easy it is to overlook the impacts on people. #StrongFemaleCharacter #Book

Goon: Last of the Enforcers (2017) - I didn't even know this got a sequel and considering I liked the last one decided to give it a go. Honestly, it carries on really well, surprisingly so, for a sports movie sequel. #GoonLastoftheEnforcers #Movie

Just Friends (2005) - This was a peak naughties film, from the editing, stars, comedy. Really it wasn't good but I quite liked it purely for gross out nostalgia. #JustFriends #Movie

The Holiday (2006) - Lovely and festive rom com with a few belly laughs and overall feel good warm cuddlyness. Absolutely a comfort film and always good to see Jack Black in a heart throb role. #TheHoliday #Movie

Click & Collect (2018) - The story is a classic Christmas caper (think Jingle all the Way meets any roadtrip movie) but the acting jokes and production were great and hilarious. Easily one of my new Christmas movie staples. #ClickandCollect #Movie

The Last Devil to Die by Richard Osman - Probably not the most thrilling Thursday Murder Club book, but certainly the most emotional. Otherwise enjoyable, but certainly on the weaker side of the series. #LastDeviltoDie #Book
