I just learned he preached a whole sermon *two weeks* after I was trespassed that included the facts about prop 139 and what God says about abortion.

Depending on a person's understanding of what it means to be Messiah could mean that believing that Jesus is the Messiah/Christ is sufficient for salvation. That is, if they believe the Messiah is their personal Saviour who died for them.

@BadTheoloTakes @HoaryHead1611 Okay, fair enough, but believing Jesus is the Messiah is not sufficient for demons to get saved, so it's an irrelevant point. They can't get saved. Jesus didn't die for them and offer to save them.

Calling Jesus the Messiah is not sufficient for a human to get saved, either.

We must believe in the death, burial and resurrection of the Lord who tasted death for every man. Are demons men for whom Jesus died?

And where does the Bible say we have to love Jesus to be saved?
