@JessicaBRiedl Also: thanks to scotus and TACO/politics, the US avg tariff has fallen to abt 1/3 what Trump set last April - and it's much less chaotic. So, mfg rebounded when tariffs & uncertainty dropped.

If you'll recall, the American Rescue Plan helped usher in (with numerous other factors) a 9% inflation rate, and was passed at a time when the economy was, for the most part, completely open.
