Arne Slot is turning Liverpool into a repeat of the Roy Hodgson era, slow football, no identity, no fight, and absolutely no progress. The scary part is that Hodgson at least knew his level, but Slot keeps acting like the problems are everyone else except him.

Tactically, this team looks lost. Training intensity looks dead. The mentality that made Liverpool feared across Europe has completely disappeared. Week after week it’s the same excuses, the same complaints, and the same blame game.

Just like Hodgson’s tenure, players are regressing instead of improving. Confidence is collapsing, the football is painful to watch, and the manager keeps throwing indirect shots at his own players, especially Mohamed Salah. Even when Salah is benched, Slot still finds a way to complain about him instead of taking responsibility for his own failures.

Liverpool survived the Hodgson era because the club eventually chose ambition over mediocrity. The same decision has to be made again before this decline gets even worse.
