Thank you @SuamicoFD and the Brown County Sheriff Dive Team for responding to the Suamico Boat Launch today. Unfortunately accidents like this happen from time to time. I am not an expert at launching a boat, but i thought it was only the trailer and boat that got wet...
If you are approached by these individuals or someone similar, heed warning of the high probability that this is a scam and it could cost $1000โs to repair the damages incurred.
Please call the Brown County S.O. at 920-391-7450 to report suspicious activity, persons or vehicles.
Today, we stopped this truck on Longtail Beach. The occupants were going door to door selling asphalt sealant. Truck was not registered and neither had a business license. This was believed to be related to many other scam complaints of a similar nature in the Brown County area.
No need for concern, Suamico Elementry was practicing an evacuation in the event of an active shooter.
The Suamico Police and Suamico Fire Department assisted with traffic control.
