Work has started on a hydraulic power unit for an international customer (AMPO in Spain). The unit is part of a bigger order that includes the design of a specialist test cell complete with an environmental chamber that will allow PR2 testing to be carried out in-house.
Our team are busily preparing tensioners prior to the assembly of a gasket PR2 test later this week. The PR2 test elevates the component to extreme high and low temperatures whilst dynamically cycling it under various pressure conditions to ensure the integrity of the component.
