Nowadays you see females in music videos, in pop cultures, and on media how women are desired to have big breasts, a small waist, and a big butt. However, this is an image that has been put in our minds since we were young children.
I'm not surprised but it's insane to think about how much power Disney has. The fact they are in control of how they want to be portrayed. For example, not being able to use any pictures taken in Disney land or using titles without Disney's permission is crazy.
I found it pretty interesting that Dr. Henry was asked in all his interviews "Aren't you scared about writing about Disney critically"? Why would one ask that unless their was something to be scared of #lesson11
After watching Mickey Mouse Monopoly I'm slightly impressed with how well Disney was able to use the idea of marketing/selling fantasy and dreams. #lesson11
