Madam Finance Minister,
Hope your ego is well served.
Women bankers, who rarely get enough time on working days to spend with their children, were made to come to the office on Sunday as well.
Two bankers from Union Bank lost their lives while travelling to or from the office.
But the question remains unanswered: Who will take care of the young children of the deceased bankers?
@ChVenkatachalam Because of ur agitation , two colleagues lost their lives. What is your call on this sir? You people are playing on bank employees lives. Who gave you this right to play on us… it’s very sad to hear strike deferred. U should have deferred yesterday which might save two lives.

A settlement on the issue was signed in March 2024 and agreed to by management, but it has not yet received Central government approval. According to the unions, repeated assurances from the government have not resulted in any progress... As no assurance was provided, unions have decided to proceed with a three-day nationwide bank strike on September 28, 29 and 30. Around eight lakh employees, officers and managers from public sector banks, old and new private banks, and regional rural banks are expected to participate..."
