Thank the #UnionCabinet chaired by PM @narendramodi for approving Revamped Distribution Sector Scheme with outlay of over ₹3 lakh crore to improve financial sustainability and operational efficiency of all DISCOMs/ power departments by providing a conditional financial aid.

With an estimated GBS of ₹97,631 crore from GoI based-on meeting pre-qualifying criteria & achievement of basic minimum benchmarks by DISCOMs, the decision will help ameliorate supply infrastructure,ensure qualitative services and further ease-of-living for the common citizens.
