Sharing happiness can brighten someone’s day and bring hearts closer together. A warm smile, a kind word, or a thoughtful gesture can spread joy and give every face a reason to shine.

On Maha Navami, we offer our prayers to Maa Siddhidatri. May she bless everyone with wisdom and strength, and guide us to do good for others.
My heartfelt wishes to all on the ninth day of Navratri.
Honored in Doha, Qatar.
Humbled to have been conferred the International Founder of the Year 2026 award by the Federation of Global Engineers at the 59th Engineers’ Day celebration in Doha, Qatar.
I could not attend due to prior commitments, but my representative received the award on my behalf from His Excellency Dr K. Srikar Reddy, Ambassador of India to Qatar. My sincere thanks to him and to the Federation for this honour.
From classrooms to hostels, we at KIIT took mental health awareness directly to where our students study, live and connect. Our week-long World Mental Health Day 2026 campaign reached an estimated 3,000–4,000 students across 40+ schools and hostels, promoting open conversations about mental well-being and encouraging students to seek support when needed.
Led by the University Student Counselling Cell (USCC), the initiative went beyond classroom talks and auditorium events to engage students in their everyday spaces.
OUR REACH AT A GLANCE
40+ schools and hostels reached
3,000–4,000 estimated students reached through outreach
600+ students reached through the Tutor-Mentor awareness initiative
At KIIT, we remain committed to fostering a supportive campus environment where mental health matters, conversations are encouraged, and every student feels heard.
Having lived through poverty since childhood, I know how helpless a mother feels when she has nothing to feed her children. I also know how much it means to a child when someone cares, offers support and gives them a chance to study.
These memories have stayed with me throughout my life. They are the reason I find my greatest happiness in seeing my lovable KISSians grow up with food, care, education and the confidence to dream. When they become self-reliant and support their families, I feel grateful that we could play a small part in their journey.
On the International Day for the Eradication of Poverty, my humble appeal is to help someone in whatever way we can. Help a child continue their education. Stand beside a family facing hardship. Let them feel that they are not alone.
No child should have to give up a dream because of poverty.
Let's be grateful for the farmers behind our meals. At KIIT, we encourage every student and staff member to take only what they need and waste nothing.
Congratulations to my lovable KIITians and their teachers from the 5G Use Case Lab at the School of Electronics Engineering on winning the Best Innovation Award at the 5G Innovation Hackathon 2026, organised by the Department of Telecommunications, Government of India.
7 teams represented KIIT, and 2 made it into the top 35 out of 1,455 teams from institutions across India. They presented their ideas at India Mobile Congress 2026 at Yashobhoomi, New Delhi. I am very happy to see their hard work recognised and wish all our young innovators the very best.
Prof. Nigel Harkness, Deputy Vice-Chancellor of Newcastle University (UK), shares his enthusiasm for building a strategic partnership with KIIT and KISS.
Highlighting the rich expertise across both institutions, he outlines collaborative opportunities in research, innovation, and skills to solve critical global challenges in health, AI, and sustainability.
Our Department of Clinical Immunology and Rheumatology, KIMS, in association with Laboratory Services, organised a three-day Auto-Antibody Workshop from 2nd to 4th October 2026.
Convened by Prof. (Dr) Ramnath Misra under the guidance of Dr Prasanta Padhan, the workshop combined expert lectures with practical laboratory demonstrations and hands-on training. A total of 26 participants from KIMS and other institutions attended the programme, strengthening their understanding of the clinical and laboratory aspects of rheumatology.

On day 2 of Navratri, we offer our prayers to Maa Brahmacharini. Her devotion reminds us to keep faith and carry on with patience, even when life is difficult.
May Maa bless everyone with strength and peace.
Always happy to meet my dear friend and brother Dr Nik Gugger. We have known each other for over 15 years, and his warmth and positive spirit have remained the same. As Global Ambassador of KIIT & KISS, he has always shown great affection for our children.
Dr Nik is a 3 term Member of the Swiss Parliament. He was in Delhi as part of the delegation accompanying H.E. Mr Guy Parmelin, President of the Swiss Confederation, during his official visit for talks with the Government of India. It was lovely to spend time with him again. I value his friendship very much.
Good mental health needs care every day. Getting enough sleep, staying active, spending time with family and friends, and making room for rest are habits we can all try to follow.
On #WorldMentalHealthDay, I hope we all give our minds the same care we give our bodies. If you are finding things difficult, please speak to someone you trust and seek help when you need it.
