A woman MP @MahuaMoitra is ordered out of a Circuit House in the middle of the night.
And tomorrow, the BJP leaders will stand before the country and speak about women’s empowerment.
You cannot celebrate Nari Shakti on a stage and use the power of the State to intimidate a woman who challenges you.
That is not authority. That is insecurity @SuvenduWB.
And when a government becomes so insecure that even basic dignity becomes political, it is the government that diminishes itself, not the woman it seeks to humiliate.
Deeply concerned about Sonam Wangchuk's health and well-being. He asked only for dialogue, yet his appeal has been met with silence for weeks. In a democracy, peaceful dissent deserves engagement, not silence.
His voice has been ignored, just as the voices of countless young Indians continue to be ignored.
He should be allowed to be shifted to a private hospital, with citizens free to bear the cost if needed. Public trust is earned through transparency, accountability, and respect for democratic rights - not by suppressing peaceful protests or refusing dialogue.
A GOVERNMENT THAT TREATS DISSENT AS A THREAT INSTEAD OF A DEMOCRATIC OBLIGATION CANNOT DEMAND TRUST WHILE EVADING ACCOUNTABILITY.
Stop defaming @abhijeet_dipke.
While we sit comfortably in AC rooms, he is out there fighting for our country.
Yes, he has a political past, but that cannot be the sole reason for his defamation.
Let’s stand with him.
This is not the time for petty politics.
If our dues aren’t released even after the Supreme Court’s say,
Bengal will rise and take the fight again to Delhi’s way.
The ZAMINDARS have fallen in VOTE and in COURT,
Yet they play their games with ED and EC’s support.
No might is greater than the people’s call,
Learn now @BJP4India or face a harsher fall in 2026, once and for all.
57-year-old Pradeep Kar from 4 Mahajyoti Nagar, Panihati, Khardaha (Ward No. 9) has taken his own life, leaving behind a note that says, “NRC is responsible for my death.” What greater indictment can there be of the BJP’s politics of fear and division?
It shakes me to the very core to imagine how, for years, BJP has tormented innocent citizens with the threat of NRC, spreading lies, stoking panic and weaponising insecurity for votes. They have turned constitutional democracy into a draconian law-regime, where people are made to doubt their own right to exist. This tragic death is the direct consequence of BJP’s venomous propaganda. Those who sit in Delhi and preach nationalism have pushed ordinary Indians to such despair that they are dying in their own land, fearing they will be declared ‘FOREIGNERS’.
I demand that the Central Government stop this heartless game once and for all. Bengal will never allow NRC, and never allow anyone to strip our people of their dignity or belonging. Our soil belongs to Maa, Mati, Manush, not to those who thrive on hate. Let the Delhi Zamindars hear this loud and clear: Bengal will resist, Bengal will protect and Bengal will prevail.
Heartfelt greetings to all on the auspicious occasion of Jagaddhatri Pujo.
May Maa Jagaddhatri inspire us with the strength and wisdom to face life’s trials with courage and compassion. May Her divine blessings fill every home with peace, prosperity, and lasting happiness.
Wishing everyone a joyous and blessed Jagaddhatri Pujo.
Proud moment for @dhfootballclub as we clinch the Oil India Gold Cup with a commanding victory over Shillong Lajong FC. The performance reflected discipline, determination and excellence.
Congratulations to the players, coaches and support staff for this remarkable achievement. This triumph is yet another milestone in our collective journey.
Dumdaar Harbaar!
Our leader Shri @abhishekaitc has firmly stated that if even a single legitimate voter’s name is removed from the SIR list, one lakh people from Bengal will surround the Election Commission office in Delhi in protest!
‘একজন যোগ্য ভোটারের নাম বাদ গেলে দিল্লি বাংলার ক্ষমতা দেখবে’! SIR নিয়ে বিজেপিকে চ্যালেঞ্জ ছুড়লেন অভিষেক বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায়!

I extend my heartfelt wishes to everyone celebrating Chhath Puja, a festival that celebrates faith, purity and the eternal bond between humankind and nature.
As devotees offer arghya to the setting and rising Sun, we are reminded of the timeless values of gratitude, discipline, and devotion that define this festival.
Across Bengal and beyond, the spirit of Chhath unites people in prayer and hope, reaffirming our shared belief that light will always triumph over darkness. May Chhathi Maiya bless every home with good health, happiness and abundance.
The Supreme Court’s clear and unequivocal verdict marks the end of an unjust and politically motivated financial blockade. By withholding MGNREGA funds for over three years, the @narendramodi Government at the Centre deprived Bengal’s rural poor of their livelihoods in an act that defied both morality and constitutional propriety.
It was the politics of punishment driven by a Bangla-Birodhi Zamindari mindset that sought to starve Bengal into submission. The Court has said what Bengal has been saying all along, you can check, you can question, but you cannot choke people’s livelihoods in the name of oversight. The Court has upheld the Calcutta High Court’s verdict in its entirety, confirming Bengal’s stand as both legal and just.
Under the determined leadership of Smt. @MamataOfficial and the tireless advocacy of Shri @abhishekaitc, this issue became a fight for constitutional rights for our people. The verdict is a triumph for justice and a defeat for the politics of hate and discrimination. The Centre must now comply without delay and release Bengal’s rightful dues to those it wronged. Joy Bangla!
Another crushing defeat for the BOHIRAGOTO BANGLA-BIRODHI ZAMINDARS.
The Hon’ble Supreme Court today dismissed the Central Government’s plea challenging the Calcutta High Court’s order directing the resumption of MGNREGA in Bengal. This is a HISTORIC VICTORY for the people of Bengal, who refused to bow down before Delhi’s ARROGANCE and INJUSTICE.
When they failed to defeat us politically, BJP weaponised deprivation. They imposed an ECONOMIC BLOCKADE on Bengal, snatching away the wages of the poor and punishing the people for standing by Maa, Mati, Manush. But Bengal does not yield. We promised to fight for every rightful rupee, every honest worker, every silenced voice.
Today’s verdict is a democratic slap on the face of those who believed Bengal could be bullied, coerced, or silenced. BJP’s arrogance has met its reckoning. They seek power without accountability. They take from Bengal, yet refuse to return her dues. But now, they've been defeated in PEOPLE'S VOTE, and in the SUPREME COURT.
As I’ve said before, and I will say again: চলবে না অন্যায়, টিকবে না ফন্দি, জনগণের আদালতে হতে হবে বন্দি! জয় বাংলা 💪🏻
Shri @abhishekaitc launches ‘Ami Banglar Digital Joddha', a people-powered, youth-led digital movement to defend Bengal’s dignity, truth, and identity from the relentless assault of propaganda.

I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to everyone for their kind wishes following my recent eye surgery. Since the road accident in 2016, I have faced ongoing challenges with my vision and this was my eighth surgery. I am glad to share that the procedure went well and I am doing fine. While I am on the mend, I have to follow certain post-operative guidelines and precautions to ensure a smooth healing and recovery. I stay hopeful and sincerely appreciate all your love, concern and kind wishes. 🙏🏻
