Anjel Chakma, a 24 year old MBA student from Tripura and the son of a BSF constable, was studying in Dehradun when he was attacked after being subjected to racial slurs while buying vegetables with his brother on December 9. He fought for his life for 17 days in the ICU before sadly passing away.

Five accused arrested. One reportedly fled to Nepal.

Northeasterners are Indians. Every Indian is equal and has the right to live peacefully in India wherever he wants.

Hope the criminals are given the strictest punishment to set an example
