Just another ordinary day in Guwahati.

You leave for work on time, only to be delayed because a few green buses decide the entire road is their personal bus stop.

The video says it all: more than 6 buses at one bus stop, stopping wherever they please, blocking traffic to pick up passengers, with little regard for rules or the inconvenience caused to everyone else. And then we wonder why traffic never improves.

This has become so common that people have stopped questioning it.

At just 2 years old, Vikram Chhetri lost his mother. By 11, he had lost his father too.
Alone in a tiny house in Assam’s Sonitpur district, the teenager learned to cook, manage his home, and grow up much before his age.

For years, he studied under kerosene lamps and a small solar light because his home had no electricity. With little more than government aid for orphaned children and an unshaken determination, Vikram kept going.

And that resilience paid off — he scored an inspiring 89.4% in Class 12 Arts.

Supported by kind locals, his school principal Kajal Bora, and a community that finally helped bring electricity to his home just two months before exams, Vikram now dreams of serving society and making Assam proud.

His story is a reminder that even in the darkest moments, hope can still light the way.
