Had an engaging interaction with students at KIET University, Ghaziabad, on the recent NEET protests. They asked tough, honest questions, and we had a constructive dialogue.

Their message was clear: students do not want politics. They want a fair, transparent and accountable examination system where merit is protected and no student’s future is jeopardized by paper leaks.

I assured them that I will raise their concerns in Parliament. The Modi Government has never shied away from difficult reforms, and I am confident it will deliver root-and-branch reforms of our examination system as well.

The students also made it clear that while they want accountability and systemic reforms, they do not want their movement to be hijacked by those seeking political mileage or chaos. They want solutions, not disruptions.

India’s youth are demanding reform with responsibility. That is the strength of our democracy.

HCM Dr. @himantabiswa today chaired a high-level review meeting on the proposed establishment of the All India Institute of Ayurveda (AIIA) in Assam under the Ministry of AYUSH.

HCM directed the concerned departments to ensure coordinated and timely action to facilitate the premier institute, strengthening holistic healthcare and quality medical education in the State.

HCM Dr. @himantabiswa today reviewed the flood situation and relief operations at Loksewa Bhawan, with a special focus on the worst-affected districts of Jorhat, Sivasagar, Charaideo and Golaghat.

HCM directed departments to ensure uninterrupted relief, safe drinking water and healthcare support, strengthen damaged embankments, assess livestock losses and repair flood-hit roads as soon as the waters recede.
