We were honoured to host the senior leadership of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and ALSAC (American Lebanese Syrian Associated Charities) in March 2026
This visit was part of the St. Jude Global South Asia Regional Meeting — “Bridging Care, Building Futures,” held in Mumbai. The conference was organized by St. Jude Global, in collaboration with ALSAC, WHO, and the Regional Advisory Committee of St. Jude, and marked the first regional meeting of its kind for South Asia.
The meeting brought together key stakeholders in pediatric oncology from across the region, including representatives from India, Myanmar, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, and Nepal, to strengthen collaboration and advance childhood cancer care.
Protein ke peeche kya hai? AKA Why are protein powders a black box? Let's change that. Let's take the protein conversation out of gyms and into our living rooms. And let's have a bit of a laugh as we do it ;)
Earlier this year, 15-year-old Olli Spiller was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukaemia.

@PennRadOnc If I were doing rad onc residency now, I would make sure to spend a few months with @VedangMurthy and @docpriyamvada at Tata Memorial Hospital. @TataMemorial
1.Unmatched clinical volume and diversity (I watched Vedang consult/evaluate ~100 patients per day. I saw more cases of penile cancer in one clinic than I’ve seen in my entire career as a GU specialist in US.
2.Broad technical experience, from simple cobalt therapy to complex brachy implants.
3.Remarkable clinical research—at least 13 ongoing projects in GU alone, with a strong effort to have a trial for every patient.
4.Incredibly dedicated clinicians, academics, and teachers who work tirelessly, with humility and kindness—6 days a week—driven by an almost religious devotion to their mission.
It wouldn’t be an easy rotation, but it would be life-changing for most U.S. trainees.
As I stand between the posts for the final time, my heart swells with gratitude and pride. This journey, from a young boy with a dream to the man defending India's honour, has been nothing short of extraordinary.
Today, I play my last match for India. Every save, every dive, every roar of the crowd will forever echo in my soul. Thank you, India, for believing in me, for standing by me. This is not the end, but the beginning of cherished memories.
Forever a custodian of dreams. Jai Hind 🇮🇳
If there was proper government funded healthcare in India, I would not have seen 10s of 100s patients die of chronic liver failure just because they could not afford a curative liver transplant. Asking private corporate head honchos about public funded healthcare is similar to asking terrorist organizations to define peace.
Yesterday, we took a flight from Nagpur to Mumbai which was already delayed due to bad weather conditions. The aircraft did not land for an hour (close to midnight) in Mumbai. To everyone's shock it was not due to the weather and the announcement made from the cockpit was....
