The dog was literally resting peacefully when the Saif Naqvi ran him over THRICE.

Even after being hit, he wagged his tail, asking the only way he knew for mercy from the same species hurting him.

That is not just cruelty. That is cold-blooded murder. If you find it within you to hurt a helpless animal, what’s stopping you from hurting a human next?

If @DelhiPolice reduce repeated running over to an “accident” because the accused has connections, they are not investigating the crime. They are protecting it.

Guy, I want to you to urge to keep stray dogs inside your flat building like this
- This won’t affect your wellbeing anyhow but for them it’s life saving
- we can’t stay 10 mins on this scorching sun outside, imagine how they survive
- If there are some trees or vehicles, they still can use that shade, but most of the time it’s not there
- So I would politely ask you to let them stay inside till evening, it won’t affect you but you will be saving there life

Pakistan Court Beats Indian Court in Animal Welfare Order ! (MAY 2026)

Supreme Court Of India ordered euthanasia (read order) and permanent removal of Dogs from many places ... meanwhile yesterday Islamabad court (Pakistan) bars arbitrary killing of stray dogs, orders implementation of a humane, science-based population control policy focused on sterilization, vaccination and public health safeguards.

MOST IMPORTANT DIFFERENCE:
> Pakistan Court said : NGOs and animal welfare groups to play a central role in rescue, sheltering, sterilisation, and adoption.
> Where as Supreme Court Of India took money from each petitioner including NGOs and did not include animal welfare organisations in the welfare.

The Islamabad High Court banned the indiscriminate killing of stray dogs and ordered authorities to adopt a humane, science-based population control system.

⚖️ Key Highlights of Islamabad High Court order:
• No culling: Poisoning, shooting, and arbitrary killing banned.
• Euthanasia only with written certification from a qualified veterinarian.
• TNVR (Trap, Neuter, Vaccinate, Release) program to be implemented citywide.
• NGOs and animal welfare groups to play a central role in rescue, sheltering, sterilisation, and adoption.
• Transparent records required for all captured, vaccinated, sterilised, rehomed, or euthanised dogs.
• 24/7 helpline to report aggressive or rabid animals.
• Anti-rabies vaccines to be available in public health facilities.
• Comprehensive stray dog population survey ordered.

The Islamabad Court recognised animals as sentient beings deserving protection from unnecessary suffering and directed all relevant authorities to submit compliance reports within 60 days.

The municipal corporations and states in India have not been doing what they should have done for decades — Sterilsation and Vaccination.

@Rajiv1841 Whichever dog you adopt, they’re a reflection of you. The love, care, respect, safety and reassurance you give shapes them deeply. If a dog is constantly barking, it is not entirely the problem — somewhere, in the environment or human behaviour is. The same goes for aggression.

I take the rabies vaccine almost every year, and still that has never stopped me from rescuing animals in need. I’m not exaggerating — I have all my vaccination records properly maintained. So why are people cribbing ? You are simply protecting yourself, and these vaccines are available free of cost in government hospitals.

If tomorrow there is a medical emergency involving a human life, you would still step forward to help, right? Then why this extreme hatred when it comes to dogs? It feels like some people have made this the biggest frustration of their lives.

At a time when crimes against voiceless animals are rising in our country, please try to positively influence society instead of spreading fear and negativity.

मुंबईतल्या भटक्या आणि पाळीव पण सोडून दिलेल्या प्राण्यांना हक्काचे घर मिळावे यासाठी Adopt A friend forever अशा पद्धतीची चळवळ सुरु झाली आहे. हा उपक्रम Teatro Bar & Grill, YODA आणि GoPaws यांच्या संयुक्त विद्यमाने राबवला जातोय. या उपक्रमांतर्गत एका मुक्या प्राण्याला त्यांचं हक्काचं घर मिळावं यासाठी प्राण्यांना दत्तक घेण्याची ही चळवळ सुरु झाली आहे. मुंबईत आज अशाच एका अनोख्या उपक्रमाचं आयोजन करण्यात आलं होतं. ज्यात सौ. शर्मिला ठाकरे या सहभागी झाल्या होत्या. शर्मिला वहिनी ज्या स्वतः एक प्राणीप्रेमी आहेत आणि मुक्या प्राण्यांसाठी त्या कायम आवाज उठवत असतात, त्यांच्यासाठी उपक्रम राबवत असतात.

या उपक्रमाला सौ. शर्मिला ठाकरे यांनी उपस्थित राहून प्राण्यांच्या दुरवस्थेचा प्रश्न देखील ऐरणीवर आणला. प्रसार माध्यमांशी संवाद साधताना “महानगरपालिकेचा मोकाट कुत्र्यांसाठी असलेला निधी नेमका जातो कुठे?” असा थेट सवाल त्यांनी उपस्थित केला.
