@geoffschwartz I've found details at this stage are only troublesome. Meaningless updates are plentiful.
Not much different than offseason NFL updates tbh.
John Harbaugh using getting fired by the Ravens as past of his commencement speech Saturday at Miami University.
Really great message overall on
the "amazing powers of caring and encouragement." Gives you some insight into how he handles himself as a coach.
@DynastyOnion I've done this a lot this year, especially in the qb heavy leagues. There's such a drop-off after Love that Mendoza can be had for a late round 1st plus a throw in.
In QB heavy formats, this is a no-brainer...in the same way that Dart in the early 2nd was last year.
The statement fantasy assertion I find most triggering is the blanket statement "in all formats" because it is false.
VORP (ie replacement value) tells you who is most valuable IN YOUR FORMAT. If you're not using VORP for your unique leagues, you're leaving value on the table.
@cooterdoodle Indubitably, but I'd add that I recommend a league or two with people you would really enjoy beating in dynasty ball to add a little spice to life.
@offshorewinds_ Yeah, I've done that too. Not a fan actually. Draft capital has so much signal, and they're working with so much information than us, that the unknown unknowns simply carry more weight than anything we can discern from our vantage point.
After the draft though, all bets are on.
I have had at least a share of a first round QB every year since I started playing Devy/C2C
QB is the the most valuable position in SFX but for some reason, it's often downplayed in those formats. The payback on hitting a QB is high & should be your main target in suppmntl drfts
