The hardest belt to earn is your white belt, it requires someone to muster up enough courage to walk into a room full of strangers who know a lot more, (many of which are also in better shape) and allow them the opportunity to physically hurt you while trusting that they won’t.
That’s why gym culture is so important, especially for the newcomers.
