SPOILER: There is no ghost. Everything turns out to have a rational explanation in the end.

Have you read Maddie's Ghost? It's a wonderful family read (or listen), featuring a loving, multigenerational family, plenty of humor, a complex mystery with clues and detective work, a triumph of justice, and just the right amount of spooky. [SPOILER below - about the ghost!]
