@denimneverdies 1/ I was raised in one of those non denominational evangelical churches, very heavily leaned right... as I got older (early 20's) I started a bend that was more right libertarian. After a lot of cognitive dissonance from self repression, I broke and left the church.

Ended up bumping into a group that I hadn't known before, hung out with most of the con, and went to future cons with. Just takes engaging with others.
