Before going for NYSc camp..... Listen ....

Here's are some spoken and unspoken rules you should know. ♥️

1. Nysc will pay you your first allowee in camp. Please, ejoor!!!!! Don't touch that money!!!
I beg you in the name of chineke nna, don't touch that money.!!

Nysc won't pay you again till ending of second month. Eg. If they paid you in June while in camp the next payment will be ending of August.!!!

There's a lot of things you'll spend money on.
(A). Finding your PPA.
Some of you will be rejected at your PPA so you'll spend money on transport trying to get a new PPA and shuttling to and fro to document and all.

(B). Finding a house especially if you can't stay in family house. Agent money plus house rent is alottttt!!!

(C). Getting essentials for your house. More buckets, pots, hangers, curtains, gas cooker etc.. If you can carry properties from home please do.

(D). Transport back home to see your family, get your things and all. Imagine you were posted to a far distance and transport cost like 40k plus.

Etc.... so please you'll not be paid for almost two months so pease be prudent with your spending especially if you aren't a nepo baby and nothing dey.

2. Night out is by 10pm whatever you're doing be inside your hostel before 10pm other wise you go chop punishment.

3. If you're posted to a far place and transport Is from 30k upwards please carry all your things when going to camp.
Especially if you won't relocate and daddy isn't dangote.
Imagine spending 70k plus going and coming plus extra charges for your load. Remember Nysc won't pay for two months.

Carry what you'll need lock it and drop with with nccf or at the guard house. Tell them you'll come carry it after camp because they might not let you carry it into the hotel especially because there are metals like pots, forks etc. (this depends on your camp Sha)

4. Take your SAED classes seriously.
Leave ajebota pikin. Their daddy is made and would make way for them. Learn that skill well. Build relationship with your trainer, who knows you might be lucky and get free post camp training.

It's best you go for a skill you don't know than going for something you already know. Most times they will only teach the introductory part especially because time is short. So it will be like a waste of time since you already know it.

In some cases it's also advisable to go for what you can do very well. Show yourself and shine your light to the right people, your trainer inclusive and you might be lucky to be posted to Nysc as a trainer.

Here's a prudent way of managing your first allowee for two months. ( Strictly for people who have no extra income or a rich daddy)

Rule no 1.
Stay in family house for the first two months..
You'll feel it like you want to give up but manage. You can move out when the allowee is now consistent.

You can move out later..team up with another corper and rent an apartment. Just the two or three of you.

Rule no 2.
Cook..... Buying food outside is more expensive (depending on the state Sha). Most family house has a general gas you can use. And depending on the family house, you won't pay any dues until the next allowee payment. So you're safe with monthly dues.

Rule 3.
Trek the trek-able. Activate your legediz Benz.
No dey do biggy for 77k if you no guide. Anywhere you can trek, trek. The ones you can't trek take cab.
Depending on the state, there are state that two people boarding a bike is cheaper. In cases like that board with another corper and split the bill. Don't board a bike with strangers o.

Rule 4.
Make sure you came with plenty granules 🤭🤭. Floating berries can come in occasionally.
Anything you can do to cut down cost please do. It's just for the moment.

This service year is indeed a service year. It trains you and will stretch you in lots of ways you never imagined.

Even if your a nepo baby, try and do 'service', don't always do 'comfort'..
