Still feeling the impact of an unforgettable Breakthrough T1D UK @BT1DUK Discovery Day in #Belfast 💙
Saturday was everything these events are about: people coming together, sharing stories, learning side‑by‑side and reminding one another that no one should ever have to navigate #T1D alone.
The venue was filled with honesty, warmth, laughter and true community spirit. Huge thanks to our inspiring speakers for giving so much of themselves and their time. And to everyone who shared their lived experience so generously - your voices are the heartbeat of this community.
From open Community Conversations to shared learning across the event, every room reflected the warmth and connection that make this community so special 🫶🏻
Massive thanks as well to our brilliant volunteers, partners and Breakthrough T1D team who made the day so welcoming from the moment people arrived, and to the Bukhman Foundation for supporting a space built on connection, community, learning and hope.
