The construction of the Calabar-Abuja superhighway; one of the four major legacy projects of the President Tinubu-led administration is moving at a rapid pace, drawing excitement from citizens across the benefitting states.
The road begins from the spur of the Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway in Cross River State (Ndibe Beach, Afikpo), traversing Ebonyi, Benue, Kogi, and Nasarawa states, terminating at Apo in the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.
Our team spoke with some excited users as part of the ongoing Renewed Hope National Media Tour in the South East.

If anyone can prove I took even 1% of Labour Party donations, I’ll stop campaigning for 2027.
— Peter Obi.
Me: Take the Person that accused you to court and leave the stories!
A serious journalist wouldn't waste energy revealing how empty Peter Obi's brain is. That 90-minute interview was a total disaster and a complete waste of time.
Even with Rufai's performative journalism, Mr Obi offered zero substance, dodging critical questions with empty rhetoric and no real policy solutions.

The Niger Delta Development Commission has commenced construction of 175-kilometre Atan Onoyom–Ito–Arochukwu Road linking Cross River State to Abia State, bringing renewed hope to communities that have endured decades of poor access and isolation.
Isn't it sad? Nigeria accounts for less than 0.1% of the total African elephant population, supporting a critically low 300 to 400 individuals. On the other hand, it acts as a massive global trafficking hub, with an estimated 20% to 25% of the world's seized illegal ivory moving through Nigerian ports and borders.
"The foreign exchange reform has improved transparency and helped stabilize the exchange rate. Taxation reform is broadening the tax base through a more transparent system, boosting government revenue for infrastructure and fiscal reforms are also providing businesses with greater certainty and predictability in dealings with tax authorities." — Inga Stefanowicz, Head of Section, Green and Digital Economy at the EU Delegation to Nigeria and ECOWAS.
Another major victory in the fight against insecurity.
Acting on credible intelligence, security forces successfully foiled a planned attack on students writing their WASSCE examinations in Kogi State and neutralized notorious terrorist kingpin Kachalla Ibrahim Battijo during a coordinated operation. Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo has since briefed the National Security Adviser, Mallam Nuhu Ribadu, on the successful mission.
This outcome reflects the growing effectiveness of intelligence-led operations, stronger collaboration among security agencies, local security structures, and the unwavering commitment of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration to restoring peace and security across Nigeria.
Nigeria is fighting back. Criminal elements are losing ground. The Renewed Hope security agenda is delivering results.
Dada Olusegun on Federal Allocations, Local Contractors, and Quality
Speaking on behalf of the Renewed Hope media team, Special Assistant to the president on Social Media, Dada Olusegun noted that the delegation had spent three days touring Ebonyi and witnessed massive, state‑of‑the‑art construction sites.
He observed that President Tinubu appreciates the good works of Governor Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru and, more importantly, that the increased allocations from the federal government are being visibly utilised.
He directly credited the savings from the fuel subsidy removal for making many of these projects possible, noting that without those funds, some of the ambitious initiatives would have remained pipe dreams. Olusegun also highlighted the extensive use of local contractors, which has boosted state economies and created jobs. He praised the quality of roads, health facilities, and educational institutions, concluding that the Renewed Hope Agenda is delivering tangible results at scale
