Happy Martyrs' Day!
Today, @KukuzaEducation joins the nation in honoring the legacy of faith, resilience, and courage left behind by the #Uganda_Martyrs. May their dedication inspire us to build stronger, more united, and purposeful communities that allow every young person, especially every girl, to flourish.

Empowering Educators, Transforming Lives!
The energy at our Kukuza Education office is absolutely electric as another of our Mental Health Teacher Facilitator Trainings reaches its final day!
We’re witnessing a beautiful transformation — educators shifting how they see their role in the classroom, moving from simply teaching subjects to nurturing resilient, emotionally supported learners.
Over these five impactful days, the Kukuza Education team—led by our Mental Health Manager, Alex Kanyerezi—has guided teachers as they immersed themselves in the #Resilience_Program. Together, they have gained the practical skills needed to create safe, caring classrooms where every student feels seen, heard, and valued.
When a teacher is equipped to manage mental health challenges, the entire school ecosystem becomes more resilient. We aren't just teaching—we are building a movement of care that will ripple through our partner schools for years to come.
Follow our journey as we pave the way for #Building_Resilient_Schools!

#Mental_Health_In_Schools!
Today, we took a significant step in strengthening mental health support across our schools! We held a Virtual Training for Teacher Supervisors under the #Resilience_Program, expertly facilitated by our Mental Health Manager, Alex Kanyerezi.
While teacher-facilitators deliver direct support, Head Teachers and Deputy Head Teachers act as the architects of a mentally healthy school environment. They provide leadership and oversight to make mental health a permanent institutional priority — embedding it into the school’s mission, dismantling stigma, and creating a culture of safety and openness.
We are deeply grateful to all the Head Teachers and Deputy Head Teachers who joined today’s session. Your commitment to building resilient schools is truly inspiring!

It is that time of the year—#Skoll2026!
We are thrilled to announce that our Executive Director, @WamalaFatuma , will be moderating a session tomorrow alongside Jackline Musyoka. This conversation will center on sharing critical findings from our work with adolescent girls across Uganda, Kenya, and Tanzania under the #RELI_Africa_Girls_Education_Program (GERAP).
At @KukuzaEducation , we believe that centering the voices of adolescent girls is the way to build truly impactful education systems. We are honored to bring these voices to the global stage at the Side Bar.
If you are in Oxford, we hope to see you there!

By harnessing local resources, building strategic partnerships, and changing our mindset, we can unlock Africa's full potential and create a future of self-reliance, innovation, and lasting prosperity!! #PhilanthropyWeek2025#DIY
The conversations during #PhilanthropyWeek2025 have been incredible. It's clear that the key to lasting social impact and development lies in our own communities. How can we strategically tap into the immense potential of local generosity to build a stronger future together?

@DerrickGracy I don't think this is objective, but again it could be me seeing it all wrong...if u insist that he flopped wen Jose brought him back then it is fair, but the SAF era and the return to Juve don't count IMO
