I have just called and confirmed and recorded the call with their consent to lodge a Formal complaint to the regulatory authorities for that type of dark patterns used by indigo.

Hey @IndiGo6E, why is web check-in forcing me to select a paid seat just to generate my boarding pass? Mandatory web check-in should not mean forced paid seat selection. Free auto-assignment needs to be an accessible option, not hidden behind a paywall. Please fix this Dark Patterns #IndiGo #ConsumerRights
