@staplenick I really hope my father in law watches. He’s convinced he’s getting £10.8M in inheritance that no one knows. He’s been paying their requests before they ‘release’ it. The latest is now £16K. We’ve tried everything and he doesn’t believe it’s not real- we don’t know what to do 😢
@HMRCcustomers Thanks Steve. I can work out what actually is business tax now from this using the full calculation. I am so grateful for your help with this. Thanks for your patience with all the replies. Im so pleased to have worked this out!
@HMRCcustomers Ah - OK! This is making so much more sense now! Thanks SO much Steve. So, its not something I should get my business to pay then really is it?
@HMRCcustomers I have plan 2 which was for a post-grad qualification. In the tax yr were talking about i would have gone over £21 but not significantly, but yes. I still understand why these amounts are being added to the bill though, is it interest on the loan?
@HMRCcustomers So it looks like its student loan/postgraduate loan repayments adding on 68 and 456 respectively. Why are these 'added' I've hardly paid much as I've been under the threshold and not sure why there are two amounts, when only have only loan
@HMRCcustomers No. View your calculations summary just says amount due for 2022-23 and the over £700 figure. Nothing about employment and what I’ve paid in PAYE or my allowance
@HMRCcustomers No. It’s very basic literally money in and money out! No other income other than from PAYE.
£180 is exactly around what I expected! Very confused what’s going on!
@HMRCcustomers Morning, I’ve just completed my task return and my small business has only made just over £900 in profit, but my tax bill is over £700- this doesn’t seem right. Is there something i may have entered wrong? Or can you point me
Where to get further help?
