A Canadian who lived their “universal healthcare” system for 32 years just gave Americans the reality check everyone pushing “Medicare for All” needs to hear.

She didn’t rant. She showed the receipts:

• Nearly 200,000 emergency patients waited 48+ hours for a hospital bed last year alone.
• Almost 1 million Canadians now leave the ER without care because the wait is too long (up fivefold in some reports).
• ER doctors warn these delays are lethal.
• 5.9 million adults still have no regular family doctor.
• Specialist waitlists are exploding — median 28.6 weeks from GP referral to treatment. Some doctors are closing practices to new patients.
• Only 2.5 hospital beds per 1,000 people — well below the OECD average. Hallway medicine is routine. Patients die on stretchers.

Her line hits hard:

“We want universal healthcare… until we learn.”

She’s not wrong. Canada’s single-payer model gives coverage on paper but delivers rationing by queue in practice. Long waits aren’t a bug — they’re the feature when government controls supply and prices.

America’s system is also broken: crushing costs, administrative bloat, and real gaps for the uninsured or underinsured. We spend nearly twice as much per person and still have problems.

The solution isn’t importing Canada’s waiting rooms. It’s fixing supply (train more doctors/nurses, cut red tape), adding real competition and price transparency, expanding HSAs/direct primary care, and protecting innovation.

Be informed before you trade one set of problems for another.

New Jersey middle school forced students to study Islamic conversion and praise Muhammad!!

A New Jersey middle school in the Chatham district used a 7th grade social studies unit on the Middle East and North Africa that included an “Intro to Islam” video and materials teaching students about the Shahada, the Islamic declaration of faith, and how reciting it is presented as the way to become Muslim.

Parents discovered that students were shown a video in which a character explains Islamic beliefs and instructs another character on the Shahada, with on-screen text stating “There is no God except Allah and Prophet Muhammad is his messenger.”

A related worksheet required students to complete fill-in-the-blank sentences related to Islamic conversion and beliefs.

The mother of a student filed a federal lawsuit arguing that the curriculum crossed the line from neutral academic study into promotion of Islam and violated the Establishment Clause.

The case worked its way through the courts and ultimately reached the U.S. Supreme Court, which declined to hear it in late 2025, allowing the lower court ruling in favor of the school district to stand.

Critics argue that public schools have no business presenting religious conversion content or requiring students to engage with Islamic declarations of faith, especially when similar content involving Christianity or Judaism would almost certainly be removed.

This case highlights ongoing concerns about how religion is taught in public schools and whether certain faiths receive preferential or overly positive treatment in the curriculum.

Pass this along so more parents know what is being taught in their children’s classrooms.

Her name was Calli Toler.

She was 6 years-old.

She in the back of her mom's car on the way to lunch and then the pool in North Carolina when a 33-year-old illegal immigrant, Jaime Santiago Corona, ran a stop sign in a Dodge Ram truck and T-boned their vehicle.

Calli passed away at the scene.

Her mom and her 4-year-old brother are in the hospital with serious injuries.

It was revealed that Corona was driving on a REVOKED license and he had already been deported...
