I feel the need to repeat myself to those accusing Israel of “genocide.”

We are done.

We walked onto cattle cars while you watched, secure in the safety and comfort of your homes.

We waited in line to use your “showers.”

We suffocated, forced to watch our children asphyxiate, unable to help or comfort them as the Zyklon B filled our lungs.

Our flesh was burned in your ovens, while you looked up in silence at the smoke-filled sky.

Our hair was used to stuff the Mercedes you drove and our skin used to make your lampshades.

Some of us escaped on a ship that your nations turned away, forcing us to return to the countries that enabled our slaughter.

1.5 million of our children were exterminated because you were complicit or indifferent.

2 out of every 3 of us in Europe disappeared and you STILL deny our genocide.

This time, when the Nazis returned in green bandanas, we thought you would have our backs. How foolish we were.

We waited - some of us with our captors in underground tunnels, some of us by the Gaza border, some of us by the door. But you never showed up.

Instead, you took to the streets and accused us of “genocide” for having the audacity to fight back, for defending ourselves against the monsters who raped and butchered and burned and kidnapped our children.

Instead of demanding that Hamas surrender and release the hostages, you raised banners calling for a global intifada.

You shouted through bull horns for our annihilation “from the river to the sea.”

You set up tent encampments, threatened our teenagers, and blocked their access to hire education.

We have been saying “never again” for 80 years. We failed to keep our promise.

We let the devil find our doorstep. It came into our homes, onto our beaches, paraglided into our festival. It bound and burned our children, raped our daughters, kidnapped our sons, choked our infants with its bare hands, decapitated our brothers with garden hoes, shot our dogs, and blew up our neighbours in bomb shelters.

We are DONE.

We will not go quietly into the night. We will not climb onto your cattle cars or into your ovens. We will not march calmly into your gas chambers. We will not wait for evil to return to our fields, our homes, or our beaches.

If you want an end to this horrific war, then talk to Hamas who refuses to participate in ceasefire talks.

If you want an end to the destruction and suffering in Gaza, then LET OUR PEOPLE GO!!!

If you want peace, like we do, then cast off the yoke of antipathy that allows you to view Jews, Druze, Christian and Muslim Israelis as acceptable targets of terror. Stop funding those who prefer death and martyrdom to life. And be intellectually honest! The allies killed 600,000 German civilians fighting the Nazis. They did not provide escape routes or drop flyers urging civilians in their native tongue to get out. They did not feed or vaccinate those who slaughtered them. And they were never accused of “genocide” for fighting the Third Reich, despite significant civilian casualties.

Israel didn’t start this war. She has had to bury way too many young soldiers in a war she didn’t and doesn’t want. She has tried to limit civilian casualties in ways that no other army ever has, but you have worked against her by fuelling the hate and emboldening Hamas. You’ve allowed your ignorance and irrational Jew hatred to perpetuate this nightmare.

If you truly want this war to end, then stop allowing your hate for Jews to take priority over the Gazans about whom you claim to care.
