A viewer asked me what the update in October for Arc Raiders needs to be successful. These are some of my thoughts:

@LuciaLemosArt @PokemonGoApp That’s because purchasing the pass doesn’t increase your shiny rates for the raids, it only increases it for the rewards from the pass. Had to find out through the support because the way they word stuff is very deceiving.

@TaleenaK @PokemonGoApp “They will earn a large amount of candy.” You consider 50 candy a battle large, when it takes nearly 9,000 to max this mon out? No wonder 90% of the raids were Eternatus and not GMax. Ontop of the increased shiny odds only applying to the rewards from the pass, not the raids..

@PokemonGoApp AND with how much candy it takes to power up Eternatus, you only give us 50 candy for each raid we do and 1 candy per level up in the pass once you have it completed it?? What a joke for a event

@PokemonGoApp Very tricky wording on the “Increased shiny encounters” - those increased odds only apply to the pokemon in the rewards from the pass you purchased, not the actual dynamax and gigantamax raids this event. On top of that Eternatus took over all the spawns for the other gigantamax

@PokemonGoApp Very annoying event to participate in. Sure the Eternatus encounter is cool but 99% of the gigantamax raids were Eternatus. For people like me that missed out on them the first time, I was excited to catch them this event. Unfortunately that wasn’t the case.
