“I’ll be alright, I promise.”

Anne would say with a determined expression as she was gathering the pieces to clean up

[✨️ @iBodeLeone]

"Are you sure? I dont want you to get hurt."

The concern on Challe's face was noticeable even if he tried to hide it.

[𝒜𝓃𝓃𝑒 𝐻𝒶𝓁𝒻𝑜𝓇𝒹 🍎 @SugarAppleAnne]

Anne shook her head a bit as she cleaned up the pieces.

“I can clean this up no worries. Could you deliver the other confectionery boxes to the clients in the market for me?”

Anne would say as she looked back at the fairy

[✨️ @iBodeLeone]

"Anne!"

The fairy quickly went to her side and went to look at her instead of the broken confections.

"Are you ok? You're more important than the sugar. Please, use me any way you see fit."

[𝒜𝓃𝓃𝑒 𝐻𝒶𝓁𝒻𝑜𝓇𝒹 🍎 @SugarAppleAnne]

feeling the sharp pain, her eyes widened quickly setting the boxes on the table.

“Oh no..! I-I’ll clean it up quickly..!”

Anne would say before kneeling down to carefully gather the larger glass pieces

[𝒜𝓃𝓃𝑒 𝐻𝒶𝓁𝒻𝑜𝓇𝒹 🍎 @SugarAppleAnne]

Anne would carefully carry a stack of packaged sugar confections and move them from the work table to the counter. Without seeing too well, she would accidentally bump into the side of the table knocking over a pitcher of water. Hearing the glass shatter after +

[✨️ @iBodeLeone]

was finding a crack in the wall he built around himself, pushing her way through and he didn't mind.

[𝒜𝓃𝓃𝑒 𝐻𝒶𝓁𝒻𝑜𝓇𝒹 🍎 @SugarAppleAnne]

Anne would blink a few times thinking of the thought before shaking her head

“I-I see.. Well thank you again for all lunch Challe. I appreciate it.”

Anne would say with a soft smile before she would wash the plate in the sink before she returned to work

[✨️ @iBodeLeone]

"Try more butcher. He was a hermit who liked ladies of the night. Now imagine cleaning up after that."

[𝒜𝓃𝓃𝑒 𝐻𝒶𝓁𝒻𝑜𝓇𝒹 🍎 @SugarAppleAnne]

Anne would giggle softly at the thought of the fairy as a chef

“Well that owner sounds horrible, but the thought of you being a chef is interesting.”

She would say as she finished up her sandwich before taking a sip of water

[✨️ @iBodeLeone]

perfect.

"I don't know how those woman kept falling for him."

[𝒜𝓃𝓃𝑒 𝐻𝒶𝓁𝒻𝑜𝓇𝒹 🍎 @SugarAppleAnne]

Anne would nod as she began to eat the sandwich the fairy had made for her.

“It’s delicious.”

Anne would say with a soft smile and she continued eating impressed with the fairy’s culinary skills

[✨️ @iBodeLeone]

"I've picked up a few skills here and there."

Challe smirked at her adoration of his food before sitting down once more in his usual place.

"I don't have to eat to live though you are human, you need it more I do."

[𝒜𝓃𝓃𝑒 𝐻𝒶𝓁𝒻𝑜𝓇𝒹 🍎 @SugarAppleAnne]

Anne would look over seeing the sandwich and her eyes widenend

“You made this..? Thank you Challe.. I didn’t know you knew how to cook.”

Anne would say as she would sit down examining the sandwich

[✨️ @iBodeLeone]

It had taken Challe about 30 minutes to with a sandwich in hand. It had freshly cooked eggs, bacon, and melted cheese on it as he sat it down on her work desk, a glass of water also accompanied her plate.

"I hope this is what you like."

[𝒜𝓃𝓃𝑒 𝐻𝒶𝓁𝒻𝑜𝓇𝒹 🍎 @SugarAppleAnne]

“Huh..? W-Wait I can do it myse-“

And before she could say anything the fairy had left. Anne would then shrug before she had proceeded the final touches on her work

[✨️ @iBodeLeone]

"Look at you. Working hard as usual. Stay here, I'll go get you something to eat."

[𝒜𝓃𝓃𝑒 𝐻𝒶𝓁𝒻𝑜𝓇𝒹 🍎 @SugarAppleAnne]

Anne would have an embarrassed expression as she looked back at the fairy

“I-I know that! I just thought I could finish my work before lunch..”

Anne would say with a soft sigh

[✨️ @iBodeLeone]

Challe looked down at her stomach before a soft laugh came from his lips. Perfect timing.

"If you're hungry, all you need to do is ask."

[𝒜𝓃𝓃𝑒 𝐻𝒶𝓁𝒻𝑜𝓇𝒹 🍎 @SugarAppleAnne]

Anne’s blushed expression would become deeper as the fairy gazed upon her. She would look into his eyes before she smiled softly.

“I-I.. I lov-“

Before she could say anything, a loud growl from her stomach would be heard as she had an embarrassed expression formed

[✨️ @iBodeLeone]

"I do."

He smiled softly as he looked her in the eyes, a bit amused at her soft blush forming on her cheeks.

[𝒜𝓃𝓃𝑒 𝐻𝒶𝓁𝒻𝑜𝓇𝒹 🍎 @SugarAppleAnne]

Anne would blush faintly as the fairy brought her pigtail up to his lips.

“Do you truly mean that..”

Anne would say softly as she looked up at him

[✨️ @iBodeLeone]

"You're also the most beautiful woman I've ever laid my eyes on."

[𝒜𝓃𝓃𝑒 𝐻𝒶𝓁𝒻𝑜𝓇𝒹 🍎 @SugarAppleAnne]

“Oh yeah? How so.”

Anne would say sighing softly as she would glance back at her sugar confections and would pick one up

[✨️ @iBodeLeone]

"You're more than just a scarecrow, Anne."

[𝒜𝓃𝓃𝑒 𝐻𝒶𝓁𝒻𝑜𝓇𝒹 🍎 @SugarAppleAnne]

Anne would quickly blush as she turned away

“Would it really change the fact that I’m just a scarecrow to you.”

She would say with a stern pout

[✨️ @iBodeLeone]

"I'm sure I could change your mind, little one."

He said as he placed his free hand to her chin with his thumb and forefinger.

"I'd love to see your reaction to what I had to say."

[𝒜𝓃𝓃𝑒 𝐻𝒶𝓁𝒻𝑜𝓇𝒹 🍎 @SugarAppleAnne]

“After your little sneaky ways maybe I don’t want to.”

Anne would say playfully as she crossed her arms pretending to be mad at the fairy

[✨️ @iBodeLeone]

The black fairy chuckled softly before he walked over to her side only to lean against her work table to tease her further.

"Would you like to hear what I had to say before?"

[𝒜𝓃𝓃𝑒 𝐻𝒶𝓁𝒻𝑜𝓇𝒹 🍎 @SugarAppleAnne]

“Why you little..!”

Anne would pout again as she would playfully punch the fairy, with her size though they felt as almost nothing

[✨️ @iBodeLeone]

"Well I said something rather different to begin with but I suppose you didn't hear that very well."

Challe said as he stood back up and crossed his arms over his chest.

[𝒜𝓃𝓃𝑒 𝐻𝒶𝓁𝒻𝑜𝓇𝒹 🍎 @SugarAppleAnne]

Her eyes widened flinching as the fairy was so close to her before pouting

“So that’s what you said!”

Anne would say before she sighed softly

[✨️ @iBodeLeone]

"You look disappointed, did me calling you a Scarecrow upset you?"

He leaned in, his elbow rested on the workbench in front of her while his obsidian orbs looked at hers to detect what happened.

[𝒜𝓃𝓃𝑒 𝐻𝒶𝓁𝒻𝑜𝓇𝒹 🍎 @SugarAppleAnne]

Anne would pout not help but wondering what he was saying. She would sigh softly before she finished fixing the piece and the several animal sugar sculptures for the fairy

“All done!”

Anne would say after wiping her forehead

[✨️ @iBodeLeone]

"It was nothing, Scarecrow."

[𝒜𝓃𝓃𝑒 𝐻𝒶𝓁𝒻𝑜𝓇𝒹 🍎 @SugarAppleAnne]

The female was so focused into her work she didn’t happen to catch what the fairy had said

“H-Huh? Did you say something Challe..?”

She may have caught a bit of what he had said but she wanted to make sure

[✨️ @iBodeLeone]

He couldn't help but watch her as her fingers glided gently over the hot surface. The sugar molded exactly where she placed or pushed it. Just watching her was mesmerizing to him.

"You're beautiful, Anne."

[𝒜𝓃𝓃𝑒 𝐻𝒶𝓁𝒻𝑜𝓇𝒹 🍎 @SugarAppleAnne]

Anne held her pout as she attempted to throw another punch as hard as she could

which was unfortunately not very hard
