I am getting a lot of these emails... makes me feel that 365 days of planning is all worth it:
Hi, Mitch:
I had to take a moment to thank you personally for yet another exceptional Terrificon. You truly organize one of the very finest comic cons--one that actually focused on COMICS--that I have ever attended, and I evangelize your con to any and all fans I meet. I routinely encounter legendary comic talent at your show that I rarely, if ever, see anywhere else. Your fierce dedication to building a superlative guest list is evident.
I thought it was particularly classy of you to take a moment before the general admission gates opened and greet us as we waited in line (again this year, I was the VERY first attendee in line, coming from the deep suburbs of Philly the night before). Travel to the con was particularly grueling for me this year, and thanks to Amtrak, I was stranded overnight in a train station on the way home. That said, I would do it all over again. We fans appreciate your efforts just as much as you appreciate our attendance.
THANK YOU TO EVERYONE who came out to TerrifiCon ™ - Connecticut's Terrific Comic Con at Mohegan Sun 2023! It was the BIGGEST turnout to date … and in my book the BEST ever!
A special shout out to all my friends and volunteers for coming out this weekend. The comic creators and media guests were all top notch and made fans smile non stop for three days!
As always the magnificent Mohegan Sun and its impeccable staff are part of the magic that makes TERRIFICON so special. Thank you Michele Davis and crew.
And last but certainly not least, a never-ending thank you to my wife Sharon who puts up with all my talk about con guests, comic books, superhero/sci-fi movies and more.
The whole experience was, you know…. TERRIFIC!
See you next year!
Connecticut is an incredibly welcoming state, it’s part of our values.
While others are putting up walls, we put out the welcome mat.
I love seeing it, and it’s one of numerous things that make this state special.
