That person advised me that he was present when Mark Carney visited the Stelco Steel Plant in Hamilton, Ontario on March 29th, 2026.

They advised that when Mark Carney was asked what he would do in the face of an Alberta Independence vote Mark Carney replied that:

“There will be no Alberta Independence because I’ll invoke the Emergencies Act.”

This was not reported by any mainstream media outlet who were present. It demonstrates that Mark Carney has zero respect for the rule of law, the Constitution of Canada, The Supreme Court of Canada or the Parliament of Canada.

David Emerson was ONE individual who crossed after the 2006 election and got a cabinet post under Harper. Ethics Commissioner cleared it.....and the discovery of this decision alarms me. It makes me suspicious the Ethics Commissioner is merely a rubber stamp to legitimize the ruling party. I now not hopeful that Democracy Watch's current complaints to the Ethics Commissioner will have a positive outcome for voters.

It is deliberately circumventing voters say in a general election. It is the government spitting on the people.

That's not the same as one guy switching sides. Floor-crossing has happened on all sides for 150+ years in Canada. The real issue is when it systematically undermines the election result the public just delivered.

This is not a talented trader.
"We placed the bet." "The ceasefire dropped." "We cashed out." Sixteen times in a row.
That is not skill. That is not instinct. That is not research.
That is someone who knows what is coming before it comes.
Think about what that actually means. A private individual is placing a $51 million bet that oil prices are about to collapse — hours before a sitting president announces a ceasefire that collapses oil prices. Not once. Sixteen times. Zero losses.
There are only two explanations and both should terrify you.
Either someone inside the White House — or with direct access to it — is leaking ceasefire negotiations to traders before diplomats, before the press, before the American people hear a single word. That is insider trading. That is corruption. That is a federal crime.
Or the timing of the announcement itself is being shaped around the trade. Which is worse.
This is not a genius investor who reads the news faster than you do. The news hadn't happened yet. He wasn't reading the news. He was getting a phone call.
While Americans were watching the ceasefire announcement and feeling relieved — somebody already knew. Somebody had already bet $51 million on it. And somebody was already counting their winnings.

YOU in the East voted him in — because you get far more MPs per capita. The West gets outnumbered and overruled every single time.

That's not democracy. That's a geographically-based dictatorship that has rammed the Liberals down Western throats three times in a row, even though we keep voting against it.

A lawyer’s lobby group just told journalists how they’re allowed to report on judges.

The Canadian Bar Association (CBA) warned the media against “delegitimizing” the judiciary,

after @sarkonakj wrote about a LIBERAL APPOINTED JUDGE,

who believes criminals should get lighter sentences based on race.

If reporting on a judge’s actual rulings is “delegitimizing” them, then maybe the rulings are the problem. 🤔

The CBA is defending an ideology.

And they want journalists to shut up about it.
