“A group of masked settlers beat our team and pummelled the 51 year old woman we were interviewing unconscious,” NBC correspondent reported.
The Palestinian woman, Aida Ahmed Abdullah from the occupied West Bank village of Jalud, near Nablus, was describing how settlers had recently laid siege to and forced her family out of their home when at least four masked men armed with clubs and rocks leaped out, assaulting the journalists and Abdullah.
She was beaten unconscious on camera and rushed to a hospital by the Red Crescent. Correspondent Matt Bradley was struck twice in the arm, and the team's producer, cameraman, and driver all sustained injuries alongside heavily damaged broadcast equipment.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu labeled the attackers "rioters.” Abdullah and the NBC team have since been released from medical care and are recovering from injuries. But NBC News reports on August 30 that the Palestinian woman’s home remains occupied by the Israeli settlers.
🚨 Israeli strike kills three-year-old in Gaza: “Taim, I promised you I’d bring you Pringles.”
An Israeli airstrike near a bakery in western Deir al-Balah in central Gaza killed Palestinian child Taim Hamdan and a man and wounded several others.
Footage captured by Drop Site contributor Mohamed Ahmed shows people rushing the wounded for treatment, including a man initially believed to have died before signs of life were noticed. “Take him to the operating room. He’s still alive!” people shout.
Taim’s lifeless body is seen with his head bloodied and wrapped in bandages, as relatives cry out his name.
“Let the world see. Come and see. Where are the Arab kings and leaders? Where are they? Where are those who boast about protecting Israel’s security?” Taim’s uncle, Ahmed Ghanem, shouted.
“Did you like it when they said every home would become a house of mourning? Here. Here is our funeral,” Ghanem shouted.
His voice breaking, Ghanem said Taim was born after seven years of waiting. “Oh, Taim. You wanted Pringles. Taim, I promised you I’d bring you Pringles.”

Every week Israeli settlers march through the Old City of Hebron, accompanied by the army, harassing Palestinians on their way. Sometimes these marches turn into full-scale pogroms, with settlers burning Palestinian businesses and attacking people with impunity.
Yesterday was on the less violent side, but the soldiers still harassed the locals and the journalists, and closed down Palestinian stores.
The breakfast Club : People criticize you a lot. They say that you criticize capitalism but make millions of dollars streaming.
Hasan Piker: When I was broke I advocated for the poor and they said you are jealous of the wealthy. Now I'm financially successful and I say the exact same things and they say I'm a hypocrite. It's not about my financial circumstances. It's about what I'm saying.

Got it, over and out.
