Suha returns the hug, feeling the relief and sorrow of her partner and friend.
“I had to go away for a while. I could feel the force shuttering and… the dark side kept seeping in. I couldn’t hold it back /and/ be around the ones I care about. It would’ve been too much.”
A thumb comes up to clear any falling tears.
“It is. I’m sorry for disappearing. It wasn’t my intention.” Her voice softens as she continues. “I’m so glad you’re still ok.”
// I kinda wanna do a droid event where Suha was a droid similar to L3-37 where she stars out as a simple droid until she gets her inhibiters off and adds to herself to become stronger. When she's near death, the force awakens in her and she becomes force-sensitive.
"It's ok, the whole... blind thing is not very common in the galaxy with cybernetic eyes available if you have the credits. While I have you--do you know where I could find a merchant for pack animals? The noise from today's ceremony gave me such a headache."
She's tending to her field of crops--her droid companion stuffing a harvested bundle into a cart and wheeling it along.
"You doing ok, Ally?" Suha turned and wiped the sweat from her brow.
The looming figure of an old B2 battle droid turned to face the woman and nodded.
"Ok then let's keep going. How much longer till the sun sets?"
The metal hiss of gears grinding from movement was overcast by the deep electronic voice of the droid.
"4 hours and 17 minutes... and counting. It will become too dark for proper harvest in 3 hours and 10 minutes."
