پہلا سوال کیا گیا کہ آپ کے ٹویٹر اکاؤنٹ کے ذریعے "اینٹی سٹیٹ” چیزیں پوسٹ ہوتی ہیں۔ میں نے جواب دیا کہ میں ملک کا سابق وزیراعظم اور اسی فیصد پاکستانیوں کا نمائندہ ہوں۔ میں ہر وہ بات کروں گا جو میرے لوگوں کے مفاد میں ہو گی۔ مجھے پورا اختیار حاصل ہے کہ میں اپنے لوگوں کے لیے آواز اٹھاؤں۔ نہ یہ اختیار کوئی مجھ سے چھین سکتا ہے، نہ کوئی مجھے ملک و قوم کے مفاد کے حوالے سے بات کرنے سے روک سکتا ہے!

مجھ سے دوسرا سوال کیا گیا کہ میں افغانستان اور خارجہ پالیسی کے بارے میں بار بار بات کیوں کرتا ہوں؟
میرا جواب یہ ہے کہ تحریک انصاف حکومت کے دوران دانشمندانہ پالیسی اپنا کر پاکستان خصوصاْ قبائلی علاقوں میں سب سے زیادہ امن قائم ہوا۔ اور اب ایک مرتبہ پھر آپریشن کے ذریعے حالات کو مزید بگاڑ کی طرف بڑھتے دیکھ کر میں خاموش رہ کر اپنے لوگوں کو آگ میں جلتا ہوا نہیں دیکھ سکتا۔

تحریک انصاف کی حکومت کے دوران افغانستان میں پاکستان مخالف اشرف غنی کی حکومت تھی۔ افغانستان کی NDS اس وقت انڈیا کے ساتھ بہت قریب رہ کر کام کر رہی تھی اور وہ پاکستان کے خلاف تھے- ہم نے ان سے بھی مذاکرات کیے- میں افغانستان گیا اور اشرف غنی کو قیام امن کی خاطر پاکستان بلایا جس سے قبائلی علاقوں کا امن بحال ہوا اور وہاں ایک عرصے بعد استحکام کا ماحول قائم ہونے لگا تھا۔ اس وقت آئی ایس آئی کی بھی یہی پالیسی تھی۔ لیکن جیسے ہی عاصم منیر چیف بنا اس نے پاکستان دوست افغان حکومت کو دھمکیاں دیں اور جان بوجھ کر حالات خراب کیے۔ صرف یہی نہیں، تین نسلوں سے یہاں رہنے والے افغان مہاجرین کو زبردستی ملک بدر کیا اور وہاں ڈرون حملے کیے جس سے دونوں ممالک کے تعلقات خراب ہوئے اور خیبرپختونخوا اور قبائلی علاقہ جات کا امن برباد ہوا۔ جب تک یہ خطے کے چاروں فریقین یعنی افغان حکومت اور افغان عوام ، پاکستان کی حکومت اور خیبر پختونخوا کے لوگ مل کر نہیں بیٹھیں گے، امن نہیں آئے گا۔ تاریخ بتاتی ہے کہ ملٹری آپریشنز سے جتنا مرضی زور لگا لیں امن قائم نہیں ہوتا-

تیسرا سوال کیا گیا کہ “عاصم لاء کیا ہے”؟
تو میرا جواب ہے کہ ملک میں جو بھی بربادی ہے وہ عاصم لاء کے تحت ہے اور یہ کوئی پراپیگنڈا نہیں بلکہ زمینی حقائق پر مبنی بات ہے۔ سب سے پہلے مجھے رینجرز نے احاطہ عدالت سے اغواء کیا اور نو مئی کا فالس فلیگ کروایا گیا۔ نو مئی کا آپریشن باقاعدہ منصوبہ بندی سے کیا گیا ورنہ چند گھنٹوں میں تحریک انصاف کے دس ہزار لوگ گرفتار نہ کیے جاتے۔ سی سی ٹی وی بھی اصل مجرموں سے توجہ ہٹانے کے لیے غائب کی گئی۔ اس کے بعد جو پریس کانفرنس کرتا اس کو آزادی مل جاتی اور جو تحریک انصاف کا ساتھ دیتا رہتا اس کو ہراساں کی جانے کی کوئی کوشش چھوڑی نہیں جاتی۔ اس منصوبے کو استعمال کر کے نا صرف تحریک انصاف کو کچلا گیا بلکہ انسانی حقوق کی بھی دھجیاں بکھیر دی گئیں۔اس کے بعد عوام نے ہمیں دو تہائی مینڈیٹ دیا جسے چوری کر کے ان چوروں کو ملک پر مسلط کر دیا گیا جن کی کرپشن کی داستانیں آئی ایس آئی خود مجھے سناتی تھی۔ پھر جس الیکشن کمشنر پر آرٹیکل 6 لگناچاہیے تھا اسے نو ماہ کی ایکسٹینشن دے دی گئی۔ فارم 47 ایوان کے ذریعے چھبیسویں ترمیم منظور کروائی گئی اور ایسے ضمیر فروش ججز کو اوپر لایا گیا جن سے انصاف کی کوئی امید نہیں بچی۔ ہر ادارے کو تباہ کر دیا گیا ہے۔

وہ آئی ایس آئی جو تحریک انصاف دور میں افغانستان کے ساتھ امن کے لیے کام کر رہی تھی، اب محض عاصم منیر کی ذاتی مافیا بن کر رہ گئی ہے، جس کی واحد ڈیوٹی کسی بھی طریقے سے تحریک انصاف کو کچلنا ہے۔ یہ سب عاصم لاء کے تحت ہو رہا ہے -

مجھ سے چوتھا سوال کیا گیا کہ سقوط ڈھاکہ کا حوالہ کیوں دیا اور عاصم منیر کو یحییٰ خان سے تشبیہہ کیوں دیتا ہوں؟

میرا جواب ہے کہ مجیب الرحمٰن اور یحیٰی خان کے بارے میں جو بھی میں کہتا ہوں وہ حمود الرحمان کمیشن میں درج ہے اور تاریخ کا حصہ ہے کہ کیسے یحیٰی خان نے اپنے اقتدار کو طوالت دینے کے لیے مجیب الرحمان کی اکثریتی پارٹی کو حکومت دینے کی بجائے ان پر ملٹری آپریشن شروع کر دیا اور ملک توڑ دیا۔ ایک دن مجیب الرحمٰن سے مذاکرات ہو رہے تھے اور اگلے ہی دن بنگالیوں پر آپریشن لانچ کر دیا۔ آج کل وہی یہاں ہو رہا ہے، جو کام یحیٰی خان نے 1971 میں کیا وہی سب عاصم منیر بھی کر رہا ہے، جس سے ملک میں قانون اور آئین کا جنازہ اٹھ چکا ہے۔

مجھ سے پانچواں سوال کیا گیا کہ میں یہ کیوں کہتا ہوں کہ مجھ پر ذہنی تشدد ہو رہا ہے؟

“I extend my heartfelt congratulations to all members of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly on the successful and dignified completion of the transition process within the provincial government. The way our members stood firmly by the party’s ideology and voted, without hesitation or reservation, for my nominee for Chief Minister is truly commendable. I also pay tribute to Ali Amin Gandapur, who, without any reluctance, tendered his resignation, not just once but three times. This smooth transition is clear evidence that the ideology of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) continues to be strong in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

My message specifically for Sohail Afridi is that he is my opening batsman, and he should play expensively and with full confidence.

PTI is the largest political party in the country. To label those associated with it as ‘traitors’ merely because they disagree with a particular policy is extremely dangerous. Those who distribute certificates of treason and label others as ‘anti-state’ for political convenience must be stopped.
As a politician, it is my democratic right to critique any policy that goes against the public interest, national integrity, or democratic principles. I have always opposed, and will continue to oppose, any such policy that harms Pakistan’s interests. The people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa have given us their mandate, and we are accountable not to the DG ISPR but to the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Therefore, we shall never act against the interests of Pakistan or its people.

I have no enmity with the Pakistan Army. The Army is mine just as the country and its people are mine. Many members of my own family have served in the armed forces. During the 1965 war, people from seven out of eight houses in our Zaman Park community were serving in the Army, defending the nation. It pains me deeply when soldiers lose their lives in the war against terrorism. Yet instability persists, and lives continue to be lost on both sides.
History bears witness that military operations alone cannot eradicate terrorism. Our principled stance is that military operations in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa are unacceptable, as lives of innocent civilians are lost under the label of ‘collateral damage’ and people are displaced from their homes. Large-scale operations have been carried out for decades in an attempt to eliminate terrorism, but the menace persists. Precious lives are lost every year, whether the martyrs are soldiers, police officers, or innocent civilians.

I have always maintained that to achieve the complete elimination of terrorism, decisions cannot be made behind closed doors. What is needed is a comprehensive strategy based on political wisdom and inclusivity. Any policy formulated without the consultation and participation of political representatives and the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government is unacceptable. All key stakeholders, including local tribal leaders, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and federal governments, and the Afghan government must be consulted in determining counterterrorism policies. Without meaningful dialogue with Afghanistan, the issue of terrorism cannot be resolved.

I once again instruct the new Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government to engage all parties involved and formulate an effective and comprehensive strategy against terrorism. One that ensures sustainable peace in the province and ultimately leads to economic recovery.

In every democratic society, citizens have the fundamental right to peaceful protest. To use violence against unarmed people and open fire on them is completely unacceptable. The brutality inflicted upon Tehreek-e-Labbaik workers is the same injustice that PTI has been enduring for the past three years. A similar massacre occurred on November 26th (2024) at D-Chowk when our unarmed supporters were fired upon by snipers. I strongly condemn the inhumane violence and the shooting of unarmed citizens in the Muridke tragedy.”

Message from Former Prime Minister Imran Khan from Adiala Jail

“When the tragic incident of the Fall of Dhaka occurred in 1971, the country was under martial law, imposed by the dictator Yahya Khan, who had made himself the ultimate authority. The Hamoodur Rahman Commission was established following the tragedy of East Pakistan. It revealed that Yahya Khan, in pursuit of his personal interests and to unlawfully extend his rule by another ten years, made decisions that led to Pakistan being split into two.

The Hamoodur Rahman Commission Report was prepared after extensive investigations involving representatives of the superior judiciary, the Army, Navy, and Air Force. During this process, statements of hundreds of people were recorded and four years were spent probing the causes of this national tragedy.

According to the Commission, one man's ego and lust for power led to a dark era of tyranny and oppression that permanently broke the country apart. His gravest mistake was the attempt to suppress Sheikh Mujibur Rahman’s Awami League, the most popular party of the time, which had won 160 out of 162 seats. Instead of respecting his party's mandate, it was pushed into a corner. Mujibur Rahman was imprisoned, and their own seats in West Pakistan were fraudulently increased. On March 24th, 1971, negotiations with Mujibur Rahman began, but on that very night, a military operation was launched against the Bengalis. According to official figures, 50,000 lives were lost, but the real death toll was far greater.

The same conditions as those of 1971 have been recreated in Pakistan today. Asim Munir orchestrated the false-flag operation of May 9th (2023) to crush the country’s most popular political party, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI). Over ten thousand PTI members and supporters were arrested within two nights. How was it possible that 10,000 people could be detained in just two nights without any investigation? Thereafter, a systematic campaign was launched to annihilate the party. All political activities of the largest political force in the country were banned. Anyone carrying a PTI flag was abducted, our candidates and their families were kidnapped, and even our electoral symbol was taken away. Yet on February 8th (2024), the people came out in defiance and shattered this entire false narrative.

February 8th was a day of revolution when the people voted against an oppressive system and gave PTI a two-thirds majority. When the Commissioner of Rawalpindi, in response to the call of his conscience, exposed electoral rigging and confessed to manipulation of votes by the tens of thousands, the very forces guilty of rigging concocted the absurd narrative that he had lost his mental balance—and then made him forcibly disappear. His whereabouts remain unknown to this day, but we will not allow his memory to be erased.

The real culprits of May 9th are those who stole the CCTV footage. Now, under the guise of that incident, our remaining seats in parliament are being taken away by handing down ten-year sentences of ten after sham trials. The height of shamelessness is that Ejaz Chaudhry’s seat was stolen and handed over to Rana Sanaullah, who had lost his own election. All these punishments are utterly unlawful.

Through deceit, seats are being snatched from us one by one. That is why we chose to boycott the by-elections, because those seats too will ultimately be stolen. To participate in such elections would be to legitimize these false convictions. I pay tribute to all those who have resigned from the National Assembly committees and given up all privileges, and I direct that resignations also be submitted from the Senate’s standing committees. I will announce our future course of action in the coming days.”

ملکی تاریخ میں یہ پہلی مرتبہ نہیں کہ فرد واحد اپنی طاقت بچانے کے لیے پورے ملک کو داؤ پر لگا دے۔ یحیی خان نے بھی اپنی طاقت بچانے کے لئے عوامی لیگ اور شیخ مجیب الرحمن کو دھوکہ دیا تھا۔ حمود الرحمان کمیشن رپورٹ میں واضح طور پر لکھا ہے کہ ایک شخص نے اپنی طاقت اور اقتدار کی طوالت کے لیے ملک کو دولخت کر دیا۔ اس ایک شخص کی غلط پالیسی کی وجہ سے اس وقت ہمارے 90,000 فوجیوں کو قیدی بنا لیا گیا تھا۔ بھٹو نے 50,000 بے گناہ جانوں کے ضیاع کا خود اعتراف کیا تھا حالانکہ اصل گنتی اس سے کہیں ذیادہ تھی۔ ملک کی معیشت کو اس وقت اربوں ڈالر کا نقصان ہوا تھا ۔ آج تک ہم اس نقصان کا ازالہ نہیں کر پائے۔آج بھی وہی کہانی دہرائی جا رہی ہے۔ آج پھر ایک شخص اپنی طاقت کو بڑھانے اور اقتدار کو طول دینے کے لیے نظام کی جڑوں میں بیٹھا ہوا ہے اور نظام کو تباہ کر رہا ہے۔

اس ملک کا مٹھی بھر اشرافیہ ملک کے تمام نظام وسائل، اقتدار اور طاقت پر قابض ہے۔ اس قبضہ گروپ کا جب دل چاہتا ہے آئین کی دھجیاں بکھیر دیتا ہے، ججوں کو دھمکیاں دیتا ہے، جمہوریت کی عکاس پارلیمنٹ کے تقدس پر حملہ آور ہو جاتا ہے، عوامی نمائندگان کو اغواء کر لیتا ہے، ہمارے ایم این ایز کے گھر کی خواتین کو اٹھا لیتا ہے۔ اخلاقیات سے عاری یہ مافیا خود کو آئین اور قانون سے بالاتر گردانتا ہے۔ اسی چھوٹے سے طبقے ، اس اشرافیہ نے اس ملک کو غلام بنا کر رکھا ہوا ہے۔آج بھی اپنی ذات کے لئے یہی سب کچھ کیا جا رہا ہے۔ سپریم کورٹ واحد ادارہ بچا ہوا ہے اب اس پر بھی حملہ آورہو رہے ہیں۔

ملک میں ظلم و بربریت کا نظام نافذ ہے۔ ترقی اور عہدوں سے نوازنے کا پیمانہ عدلیہ میں تحریک انصاف کے خلاف فیصلے اور حکومت میں فسطائیت ہے۔ اس بات کی تین واضح مثالیں قاضی عیسی فائز، محسن نقوی اور ہمایوں دلاور ہیں-

قاضی فائز عیسی نے ہمارے اوپر مظالم کرنے والوں کو تحفظ دیا ۔ ہم سے ہمارا انتخابی نشان چھینا۔ انسانی حقوق کی پامالیوں کے خلاف ہماری درخواستیں نہیں سنیں۔ الیکشن میں دھاندلی پر سابق کمشنر راولپنڈی نے چیف جسٹس اور الیکشن کمیشن کو ذمہ دار قرار دیا تھا ۔اب اسی چیف جسٹس کو دوبارہ مسلط کرنے کے لیے فارم ۴۷ حکومت اور اس کے ہینڈلرز ہر ممکن ہتھکنڈہ اپنا رہے ہیں۔ میرے پاکستانیوں آج اگر آپ قاضی فائز عیسی کی ایکسٹینشن کے خلاف نہ نکلے تو ہمیشہ غلام رہیں گے۔

محسن نقوی نے سب سے زیادہ ظلم ہم پر کیا ہے۔ ظل شاہ کو پولیس نے تشدد کرکے قتل کیا،لاش سڑک پر پھینکی اور ایف آئی آر بھی میرے ہی خلاف کاٹی ۔ہم پر ظلم کرنے کے عوض محسن نقوی کو وزیر داخلہ اور پی سی بی کا چیئرمین بنایا گیا۔

ہمایوں دلاور کی وجہ سے میں اور بشری بی بی آج غیر قانونی طور پر پابند سلاسل ہیں۔اس کے عوض ہمایوں دلاورکو اربوں مالیت کی زمین تحفے میں دے دی گئی ۔خیبر پختونخواہ اینٹی کرپشن کے پاس اسکے سارے ثبوت موجود ہیں ۔ اب ایف آئی اے نے خیبر پختونخواہ اینٹی کرپشن پر کیس کر دیا ہے۔

نواز شریف کو انھوں نے دبکا لگا کر روکا ہوا ہے،نہیں تو کب کا باہر بھاگ گیا ہوتا۔ مجھے یہ نہ بتائیں کہ کس کس کے پیسے اور جائیدادیں باہر ہیں ، مجھے یہ بتائیں کہ آج اس ملک کے جو ارباب اختیار ہیں ، جو اس نظام کے لاڈلے ہیں ان میں سے کس کے پیسے اور جائیدادیں ملک میں ہیں۔ سعد اللہ بلوچ کی بیوی اور بیٹی کو اٹھا لیا گیا ہے۔ انکو شرم نہیں آتی یہ اسمبلیوں میں گھس گئے اور پارلیمینٹرینز کو پکڑ لیا ۔ ایسا پہلے کبھی نہیں ہوا،کسی نے پہلے کبھی پارلیمنٹ سے کسی کو گرفتار نہیں کیا۔

پوری قوم کو کہتا ہوں آزادی بچانے کےلئے سٹریٹ مومنٹ کے لیے نکلنا ہوگا ۔ ہماری تحریک جمہوریت کے لئے جہاد ہے۔عدلیہ سے کہتا ہوں قانون کی حکمرانی کے لئے کھڑے ہوں ۔ قانون کی حکمرانی نہ ہونے کی وجہ سے ملک میں سرمایہ کاری نہیں آ رہی۔ پوری پارٹی تیار رہے سڑکوں پر آنے کا اعلان جلد کریں گے۔ یاد رکھیں حقیقی آزادی کے لئے قربانی دینا پڑتی ہے۔ میں اور میری بیوی جیل میں ہیں اور جیل میں رہنا ہمارے لئے عبادت ہے۔ اگر آپ کو بھی جیلیں بھرنی پڑتی ہیں تو اس سے دریغ نہ کریں۔ اگر آپ قربانی نہیں دیں گے تو آپ اور آپ کی آنے والی نسلیں غلام رہیں گی۔

He once lifted the 1992 Cricket World Cup trophy for Pakistan, a captain carrying more than a team - carrying belief.

When the cheers faded, he built hope in brick and mortar: Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital & Research Centre, where the poorest could walk in with fear and walk out with dignity.

Then came Namal and Al Qadir, rising from dust so that forgotten towns could dream in degrees.

He fought for nearly three decades to carve space in a system that resists reform.

He led. He fell. He rose again.

His own creation, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, severely trembles under pressure, splintered by power, greed and persecution.

Yet the man at its center remains unbowed.

Four bullets tried to silence him. Prison walls tried to shrink him.
Time has tested his body; confinement has strained his health. But conviction is a stubborn thing it does not limp, even when the body does.

Agree with him or not, stand with him or oppose him - humanity should not be conditional.

A leader who built hospitals deserves access to one. A man who gave years to public life deserves care, not neglect.

Give him the medical care he truly deserves - not as a favor, but as a basic measure of justice.

یوم یکجہتئ کشمیر پر ہم اس عہد کی تجدید کرتے ہیں کہ ہم من حیث القوم کشمیریوں کے حقوق کے حصول تک ان کی سفارتی، اخلاقی اور سیاسی حمایت جاری رکھیں گے۔ 7 دہائیوں سے کشمیر پر تسلط اور جبر و فسطائیت کا راج ہے اس کے باوجود کشمیریوں کا جذبہء آزادی ماند نہیں پڑ سکا۔ اس میں عقل والوں کے لیے یہ پیغام پنہاں ہے کہ بندوق کے زور سے نظریات تبدیل کئے جا سکتے ہیں نہ جذبہ آزادی کو مٹایا جا سکتا ہے۔ اس سے میرے اس بیانیے کو بھی تقویت ملتی ہے کہ فوجیں تعینات کرنے سے کبھی بھی سول مسائل کا حل ممکن نہیں ہوتا۔

کشمیریوں کو اقوم متحدہ کی قراردادوں کی روشنی میں ان کا حق خود ارادیت ملنا چاہیے۔ اس خطے میں پائیدار امن کے لیے مسئلہ کشمیر کا حل ناگزیر ہے جس کے لیے اقوام عالم کو اپنا کردار ادا کرنا چاہیے۔ میں ایک مرتبہ پھر عالمی برادری سے مطالبہ کرتا ہوں کہ وہ کشمیر میں انسانی حقوق کی سنگین خلاف ورزیوں کا نوٹس لے اور اقوامِ متحدہ کی قراردادوں کے مطابق مسئلہ کشمیر کے منصفانہ حل کے لیے اپنا کردار ادا کرے۔

بطور وزیراعظم میں نے مسئلہ کشمیر اجاگر کرنے کے لیے سفارتی سطح پر مسلسل کوششیں کیں۔ میرا شروع دن سے یہی موقف ہے کہ پاکستان اور بھارت میں دوستانہ تعلقات کا قیام اقوم متحدہ کی قراردادوں کے مطابق مسئلہ کشمیر کے حل سے مشروط ہے۔

پاکستان میں جب بھی تحریک انصاف کی حکومت واپس آئی کشمیری عوام کی آزادی کے لیے جدوجہد کو اسی سرے سے دوبارہ شروع کیا جائے گا۔ بحیثیت قوم پاکستانی اپنے کشمیری بھائیوں کے ساتھ تب تک کھڑے رہیں گے جب تک ان پر آزادی کا سورج طلوع نہیں ہوتا۔ انشاء اللہ وہ دن آ کر رہے گا جب میری کشمیری قوم کو آزاد فضا میں سانس لینا نصیب ہو گااور اس جنت نظیر وادی میں بندوقوں کی بجائے آزادی کے نغمے گونجیں گے، انشاء اللہ

Former Prime Minister Imran Khan’s Conversation with his Lawyers and Family Members in Adiala Jail - March 19, 2025

"The scourge of terrorism in the country is out of control. The tragic incident of the Jafar Express is deeply saddening and condemnable. Such organized terrorist attacks raise serious questions about any country’s security. No one can feel the pain of losing precious military and civilian lives to terrorism as profoundly as we do, because PTI is the only political party with majority support across all provinces. Unfortunately, all agencies are focused on eliminating PTI instead of preventing terrorism.

PTI’s decision to boycott the National Security Committee meeting is absolutely justified. I was neither invited to the meeting nor was my opinion sought, and even the representatives of Balochistan were excluded. They would have first consulted with members of my party if they genuinely intended to address this issue. PTI is currently the only political party in Pakistan with support across all federal units, whereas PPP and PML-N are confined to specific regions of Sindh and Punjab. How can national consensus be achieved while excluding the leader of the country’s largest political party and the true symbol of the federation?

The subservient [to the military establishment] government’s foreign and domestic policies are proving to be disastrous for the country. The issue of terrorism can only be resolved through a political solution that aligns with the people’s will. Terrorism cannot be eradicated solely through kinetic military operations. Our foreign policy regarding neighboring countries must be independent and sovereign. Issues with Afghanistan should also be resolved through dialogue. Since the regime change, their lack of seriousness is evident from the fact that Bilawal toured the entire world but did not visit Afghanistan even once. Military operations have never been the solution— even major wars have ultimately ended through negotiations and sincere efforts for peace and stability.

The country can only remain united and strong if the public mandate is respected, political parties are allowed to function freely, and the establishment refrains from interfering in politics. In 1971, a political party was sidelined, and history has not forgotten what followed. The country would not have been divided back then had fair opportunities been given to political parties. Today, once again, the people’s voices are being suppressed, and political parties representing them are being strangled. The same oppressive model has been imposed in Balochistan, which is why the situation there has spiraled out of control. Until representative governments of the people are given power, these issues will persist and worsen.

The imposed regime is using all unlawful tactics to pressure me. My wife has been unjustly imprisoned. Yahya Khan did not jail Mujibur Rahman’s wife, neither did General Zia imprison Bhutto’s wife, nor did Musharraf incarcerate Kulsoom Nawaz. But this establishment has reached the lowest level of moral decline by imprisoning my wife in fabricated cases.

My communication has been severely restricted for nearly a week. To keep me uninformed about current affairs, television access has been banned, and newspapers and books are not being delivered. I have been denied contact with my children. Despite repeated reminders, the standard provision of a 72-hour meeting within 90 days with my wife has not been granted. My personal doctor is not allowed to meet me, nor is my dentist. My party leaders have also been barred from visiting me. I have been kept in complete isolation to prevent me from learning about the All Parties Conference (APC). 1/2
