@thesuir I think Mick Lynch put it very well in relation to Labour losing their way in Britain - they’re led by a man who’s not really a Labour man. It seems that he is relatively new to membership of the party even, he’s not someone steeped in the Labour movement.

The quietest dog we had at the front gate - was the great Westmead Hawk.

He was the quietest until he heard one man’s voice. Then the barking &jumping started.

It cemented the bond he had with dogs - he respected them & they loved him. I was lucky to witness it.

@davidcoldwell The measure of a man is how he carries himself in victory or defeat. I’ve been a fan of @J_Warrington since he beat @BoxingBinman Rendall Munroe for the Commonwealth title because of the way he conducted himself in the ring after the fight. What a great career he’s had since.

A storm blew up during the Dun Laoighre Harbour Swim. Safety boats picked up more than 30 swimmers. The ladies race was cancelled. I had a great swim the same day and it remains one of my favourite ever races.
