We all agree that Begging is a social menace. But how to eradicate this?

MP, in Indore from Jan 2025 & Bhopal from 03/2/25 Begging has been banned. 'Stringiest measures' to be taken if caught 'begging' or 'giving alms' both. Already multiple FIRs have been registered.

The beggars we see on the road, perhaps some of them are anti-social elements, also many of them might be using substances.
But certainly, it is the most degraded form of any human social status to be treated with empathy.

Many children leave their illiterate parents at the last stage of their life reducing them to choosing this profession for survival.

The same applies to many kids left by parents unable to parent due to social and economic reasons or disabled people at the lowest strata of this society. According to GOI though only 19K children live on India's streets, the actual figure must be higher.

They are the masses who have no access to any Government schemes, facilities. Still they exists.

Instead of rehabilitation, the STATE of Madhya Pradesh is now going for punitive action against them as well as those who help them!

What kind of treatment is this? A Government should treat such issues with a benevolent, kind approach. But what is this Government doing? No one wants this society to continue with this 'Begging profession'.

None of us want to see a beggar in our locality. But such a cruel approach is condemnable. You can't heal a wound by hammering it further.
Or is it just that you don't like these 'dirty people'?

Added to that how can you stop a person from 'Donating' an expression of kindness? How? You are driving this Society towards a Cruel inhuman status.

Just the day before yesterday Modiji said 'POOR is our Focus'.
Your people's misguided focus indeed seems towards the 'POOR' instead of 'POVERTY' Modiji.
