SPHF is not just a housing rehabilitation programme; it is a transformative initiative for women’s empowerment, job creation & climate resilience. Sindh received Rs170 bn less than its due share due to the FBR failures, while provinces are still expected to help meet national fiscal commitments. Despite these constraints, we have not allowed development to suffer.

When we introduced the public-private partnership model, many mocked it. Today, projects like Thar Coal, Shahrah-e-Bhutto & major healthcare initiatives stand as proof of its success. This year, we will further expand PPP projects, including renewable energy parks in coastal areas, the extension of Shahrah-e-Bhutto to Port Qasim, technology zones & much more. Sindh remains committed to investing in development, growth & opportunity for its people.

GB elections were held on 7 June. Today is 17 June & the election process is still incomplete. Despite all tactics, the reality is clear: PPP has emerged as the majority party in GB & no one can stop us from forming the government. Our mandate was stolen in the last election, but this time we will not allow the people’s verdict to be undermined. Even the Prime Minister has congratulated Chairman @BBhuttoZardari on PPP’s victory.

In the next day or so, you will see PPP formally announcing the formation of its government in GB.
