Sadly, we have recently seen an increase in pregnant women needing intensive care at GWH.

Here are some staff from ICU, including Charge Nurse Zdenek, who wants to share his personal experience of the vaccine in pregnancy, as his wife is currently expecting twins.

COVID can have serious effects on pregnant women and their baby. Pregnant women with COVID are also 2 to 3 times more likely to have their babies early than women without COVID.
