In this race, Mercer Democrats have a unique opportunity to correct course, pull the party in a more progressive direction, and reject the sclerotic, ineffectual, and divisive politics of the past.
Glad to see James Gee jump in the race for Mercer Dem chair.
Mercer needs a change. The outgoing chair and her allies have been asleep at the wheel for years, and ignored and disinvested in the base of the party -- particularly in the city of Trenton.

Meanwhile, James Gee has been working with progressive leaders across the state, bringing new energy, new perspectives, and new voters (particularly younger voters!) into our coalition.
We are thrilled with last night’s Democratic victories, and proud to serve as the pollster for the gubernatorial campaigns of both @MikieSherrill and @SpanbergerForVA — marking historic wins as the first female Gov in VA and the first Democratic woman Gov in NJ.
Onwards to 2026!
New study first shared with @semafor on the increasing divide between passive and active news consumers, and how the split is shaping politics https://t.co/4ltxqpBto0
Tom Kean, Jr. just quietly took nearly $20k from Betsy DeVos and her family. Trump's former Secretary of Education waged war against public education, actively sabotaged efforts to combat discrimination, sided with fraudulent for-profit colleges over their victims, and is wildly out of step with NJ values. She also supports conversion therapy and weakening protections for organized labor.
@KeanforCongress would rather beg for cash from those dedicated to destroying our public schools than fight for them in Congress.
What a bad take + being unclear as the governor to the damage that Bashaw can do is harmful to the state… to be clear…
There is only ONE good candidate running for senate. The differences are clear…
- One candidate publicly endorsed Trump and one didn’t
- One outlines the risk of climate change and one dismisses it
- One candidate supports the Dobbs decision restricting reproductive rights and one opposes it
Etc etc
@AndyKimNJ is on the right side of every issue for NJ and the Governor should make sure there is nobody misunderstanding the threat Bashaw is to NJ and the country

"He single-handedly changed the face of the judiciary...he has many hats. That isn’t even all he does. He doesn’t really tell all that he does.”

Great news! Mercer County is conserving 50 acres of land formerly slated for the PennEast natural gas pipeline.
PennEast's unnecessary development on state lands was canceled after continued opposition from @MercerPIO and leaders across NJ & PA.

What Republicans call "work requirements" are really just attempts to add bureaucratic red tape that makes it harder for people living in poverty to access public support.
That's it.
Tightening these burdens would be a cruel betrayal of our Democratic values.

Justice Alito “opened up” to friends at the WSJ editorial page last week to complain that “practically nobody is defending” SCOTUS justices accused of unethical conduct.
