Joseph, you hold this view because you see the same figures such as Moses, Jesus, and Abraham in the Quran, and you assume it copied the Bible. No, it did not. Let me explain some historical and theological nuances you don’t know to you.
The Quran does not contain the Bible. However, it shares the same historical framework because both originate from the same divine source. God sent thousands of prophets with one core message: Monotheism.
Over centuries, the followers of these past prophets failed to protect their scriptures. Human errors, political edits, cultural biases and deliberate alterations corrupted the original texts, therefore burying the core message under layers of human interpretation.
Because of this widespread corruption, the Quran serves as the final divine filter. If you check the Quran, you would see that it confirms the original truths given to those past prophets while correcting the theological contradictions men inserted into the older texts.
This is why the Quran recounts similar events but changes the theological implications entirely. When you read older translated texts, you find prophets allegedly committing gross moral crimes or doctrines like inherited sin.
The Quran filters out such human slander and restores the pure narrative of individual accountability and the honorable status of the messengers (peace be upon them).
Trace this back to your point about language. You point out that the Bible was not written in a single language as if that is an advantage. That is a critical vulnerability.
You know why? Jesus spoke Aramaic, yet the earliest surviving biblical manuscripts are in Greek. The Greek ones were translated to Latin, and then English.
Every time a text jumps across entirely different language families, the original linguistic structure collapses. A human translator interprets ancient idioms and injects their own cultural bias.
Take an ancient Semitic idiom as a practical example. In Aramaic, calling a person a "son of God" was a common cultural metaphor for a righteous servant. It carried zero literal meaning.
However, when translators moved that same text into Greek, it entered a society built on pagan mythology where gods routinely fathered literal children. The Greek audience applied their own cultural lens to the translated phrase.
They stripped away the Semitic metaphor and interpreted it as a biological fact. That single linguistic shift birthed an entirely new theology that corrupted the original monotheistic message. That chain of translation is how those original messages got butchered in the first place.
Fortunately, Islam shut down this loophole. The final revelation was locked in its original Arabic to preserve the divine source code and protect the corrections it established.
We have translations across almost all languages for basic understanding, but the Arabic remains the supreme standard to prevent men from replacing the word of God with the mindset of a translator.
I hope this helps your understanding.
Allah knows best.
@Dr_Afo GenZee 100 level medical student : “they’re the same thing sir”
“Proceeds to type nonsense from his head”
Omo, I never believe a day would come where a medical student will correct a whole consultant🤣😂😂😂.
I am putting this out here. This happened to me today in school. There's a kG one pupil in my class, she's a year and 9 months old. She started the school in Sept.
Her mother brought her this morning, she said she had cold and to give her allergy at 12pm. She had a head
But AYO, don’t you think the punishment is extreme? Truly, your concerns are valid.
But I want you to know that the word “extreme” is a relative term. It is not absolute. And you cannot define what is extreme until you establish the baseline you are measuring from.
The reason you keep saying it is extreme is because you are using a Western ruler to measure an Islamic legal system.
In the secular framework, the highest possible value is individual liberty and physical life. That is, liberty and life comes before the religion. From that baseline, taking a human life for a non violent sexual act is viewed as an extreme punishment. They believe that if there is no physical victim, the state has no business ending a life.
However, in the Islamic legal compass, the highest priority is the protection and sanctity of the religion. Our servitude to the Almighty comes first, even before our own life. Islam believes we are not here on our own. We are here on a purpose, which is to worship the Almighty.
Now when you compare these two worldviews, you will see the glaring difference in the moral compasses and why you feel the judgment is extreme.
From the Islamic standpoint, it is the crime itself that is extreme. Read that again. This is because bypassing private hotel rooms to commit an act of severe sexual immorality right inside the most guarded sanctuary on earth is an extreme violation. It is an unthinkable level of spiritual treason.
So, when an offender commits an extreme violation of a state ultimate sacred boundary, a competent court will mostly likely respond with the maximum deterrent.
You only think the punishment is extreme because your secular moral compass refuses to accept the weight of the crime. When you understand the hierarchy of laws that I established above, you will realize the ruling based on their framework, is not extreme. It is proportional.
This is the difference. You don’t agree. Fine. But that’s their legal view point. And do you think it is also fair to impose your own emotions on their jurisdiction?
Good man.
your apology is accepted. I have read your long apology in my DM.
now, I want you to get straight As in your 100 level exams... and get a gift from me.

Ooh, I heard there are some medical students going around chasing clout all over the TL.
Teaching and correcting doctors on the Timeline. Don't be part of them... there are ways you will be dealt with without breaking a sweat.
SUDEP and WWE- Women With Epilepsy is a dear maternal medicine subsection of Obstetrics very dear to me... So, if I respond the way I wanna respond to you, you'll drop out of Medicine and go to Biochemistry... and Biochemistry will reject you, because it's also a difficult course.
Now take this message to your fellow medical students causing a menace on the TL... if you reply foolishly here, I'll take it personal with you and your medical school...
The other day, a medical student was counselling a registrar how to repair a body part.
Read your book dear child and don't be silly again, you hear?...
Am I clear?
Your assignment: go and read about SUDEP.
@PiousGeek You’re a very stupid man,
Majority of the students in the bus claims the driver is a good man, and they attest to the fact that you constituted a nuisance and rained curses on the driver.
You’re a very terrible human being.
May Allah forgive you
@PiousGeek I’m a nursing student in this university and this man usually takes us from school to UITH almost everyday, and never for once has he ever driven recklessly before, plus there were people inside the bus when everything happened
