@circle Agents paying for things on their own is exciting, but it raises an obvious question: how do we know who authorized the payment and who’s responsible for it?
@Cointelegraph This is such a nasty trick. People are already confused by the new rules, so a message pretending to come from a regulator can feel very convincing.
@Trezor Important reminder. After incidents like this, phishing often becomes the next threat. Never share your recovery seed or follow unsolicited wallet-migration instructions.
@nathanmccauley Really interesting question. If an AI agent can move money, we still need to know who’s actually responsible when something goes wrong.
@SimpleSwap_io Really useful breakdown. The details change, but most of these scams still rely on the same phsycological tricks. If its to good to be true, than it probably is.
@PeckShieldAlert@COLDCARDwallet $210M in one month shows how quickly isolated weaknesses can turn into major losses. Crypto security needs to cover more than smart contracts alone — wallets, bridges, access controls, and transaction monitoring all matter.
84% is a huge number, but it refers to stablecoins’ share of recorded illicit on-chain flows—not the share of stablecoin activity that is illicit. Stablecoins handle plenty of legitimate activity, so looking at who’s involved and how the funds move gives the figure much-needed context.
@muneeb A secure hardware wallet can’t compensate for weak entropy at seed generation. If the recovery seed was created insecurely, the funds may remain exposed regardless of how secure the device is today.

Last week at APAC Multiverse 2026, we brought together business leaders, fintech experts, and regulators to discuss one of the biggest challenges of the AI era: how to build trust in AI agents.
During the event, we unveiled our latest APAC State of Digital Trust: AI Governance Benchmark, conducted jointly with the Singapore FinTech Association (SFA).
The findings reveal that AI adoption is outpacing AI governance:
• 95% of businesses in #APAC are confident in tracing and explaining how AI is used in their organizations.
• Yet only 38% can produce the evidence needed to prove how AI reached its decisions.
• As organizations give AI more autonomy, traceability remains the weakest link, creating what we call the Accountability Asymmetry: the gap between taking responsibility for AI decisions and being able to prove what actually happened.
Thank you to everyone who joined us at APAC Multiverse 2026 and contributed to the discussion! 🥳
Argentina Adopts Blockchain Identity Checks for Organ Transplant System 🫀
Argentina’s national transplant authority has begun rolling out a blockchain-based identity and document verification system across the country’s organ, tissue, and cell transplant network, Biometric Update reports.
The system gives the National Central Institute for the Coordination of Ablation and Implantation (INCUCAI) and Argentina’s 24 provincial transplant agencies verifiable digital identities registered on the IOTA Mainnet.
Developed by decentralized identity company @Extrimian, it uses @iota Identity technology and standards developed by the World Wide Web Consortium to provide the information needed for quick, accurate, and trustworthy transplant authorization.
Authorized participants, including patients and healthcare professionals, can use the IncucaiID digital wallet to prove identity, receive verifiable credentials, and electronically sign documents. A hash is then recorded on the framework to provide evidence that the document has not been altered.
Patient records and medical information are not stored on a public ledger.
