Let’s address the bizarre delusion that eradicating all street dogs will magically transform Indian cities into a "developed nation" overnight.

It is incredibly easy to direct anger at voiceless animals and advocate for mass cruelty. What actually takes effort is holding the system accountable.

Here is the logical question that the crowd calling for culling refuses to ask 👇🏻

“Where is our hard earned tax money going?”

Every single year, municipal bodies allocate massive budgets for the ABC (Animal Birth Control) and anti rabies vaccination programs. If these drives were executed honestly and consistently, the population would be entirely under control. Instead, we have phantom sterilization drives that seem to exist only on paper. Why is no one demanding audits for these missing civic funds?

Believing that killing dogs will "clean up" our country is just lazy citizenship. A city devoid of dogs isn't a developed city if it still suffers from open garbage dumps (which act as food sources), poor urban planning, and corrupt civic administration. True developed nations achieve safety through scientific, continuous animal management not through bloodbaths.

Furthermore, culling is scientifically proven to fail. It triggers the "vacuum effect," where new, unsterilized dogs simply migrate into the empty territory to utilize the leftover resources, starting the cycle all over again.

If you truly want safer streets and a progressive nation, direct your outrage where it actually belongs.

File an RTI.

Question your local municipal corporation.

Demand transparent, aggressive ABC drives.

Stop blaming the symptoms and start questioning the systemic failure.

No one is advocating kids being mauled by dogs but are you the subject matter expert? Have you any idea of how this particular species behave? Experts have been advocating for proper implementation of ABC program. Why is that not happening? Also, if the dogs are constantly prone to violence and cruelty even they get aggressive.
