Gives me great joy to share that in a landmark beginning of our effort to bring our successful Mangaloreans “Back To Ooru” we today, have an EOI - Espression of Interest- signed between the Italy based globally renowned MIR group and the Mangalorean SEZ.

It is great to have the MIR Group, led by CEO Arch. Raffaele Marrazzo, express interest in investing in our city recognising the various strategic advantages that Mangalore SEZ offers.

MIR Group’s director Nitik Ratnakar’s enthusiasm & efforts to be “Back To Ooru” has marked the beginning of this project.

They will be setting up a factory at the Mangalore SEZ to manufacture a range of energy-efficient building materials with a total invest of over Rs 1500 crore.

@SWRRLY @GMSRailway, we have got to know that @RailMinIndia has approved the proposal to extend Tr No. 16511/12 KSR Bengaluru-Kannur Express upto Kozhikode. We strongly oppose this proposal! Already Mangaluru is suffering without dedicated trains to Bengaluru!

And yes, its another toll booth within 60Km which had to be removed
