Halloween was so fun today! We made a rhyming spider web, investigated a pumpkin’s insides, graphed if we thought bats were creepy or cute, had a blast playing bingo at our party and of course enjoyed all the snacks!

We are practicing following directions! One of my favorite ways to teach the importance of following directions is using a directed drawing! Today we followed teacher directions to make pumpkins!
Today we had a guest reader, Jaden’s mom! Friends we so excited and so respectful. They followed the listening rules! Eyes watching, ears listening, voice quiet, body still!
In science we are learning about properties of trees. We learned some experts can tell kinds of trees just by looking at their shape! We looked at many different kinds of trees, like maple, apple, palm, oak trees and more! We also worked in partners to solve tree puzzles!
Students have been earning Dojo points like crazy! Respectful and responsible students need to be rewarded, of course! KC students are bringing in their favorite stuffed animal to keep them company tomorrow because we earned another 1000 points as a class! What teamwork!
My first experience teaching a teacher was awesome! Justin, a practicum student from Cornell College, captured their attention and was a fantastic help this week. I hope he learned a lot too 😄
