I suggest all officers on leave should consider completing IGF basic and advance courses as 60% of all yard deliveries are with dual fuel and IGF COP is mandatory to join these vessels

The whole process takes about a month to complete..

Shore Leave, speak less @shipmin_india

When we visit foreign ports which have that countries naval assests we are not denied shore leave stating security concerns. They take measures to enhance their dock safety and not deny shore leave to seafearers. Our System ???

Till around 2010, seafarers full wages used to start when they left their country for joining … now a days it’s only basic wages are given which are only 25%.

Why?? When
- I am providing my services from the day I left.
- ship delayed is not seafarer fault.

Thanks MMD Noida @dgship_goi for meeting heavy Rush of Indian Seafarers esp fm North India for BSID and Certificate of Competency Exams. Capt Poswal is helpful as I recd calls from 3 Seafarers today whose issue of Seatime was resolved timely allowing them to appear for Exams.

Demand of Indian Seafarers is high on Tankers. Recently noted the lowering of Crew Wages in China and some Bulk Carriers / Containers being grabbed by Chinese crew.
Many Ukranian Seafarers staying in Europe and getting jobs with European Owners.

It's because of top quality Master Mariners and Chief Engineers that India is becoming new destination for Ship Management. No support from Indian Govt but the Shipping Entrepreneurs bringing thousands of jobs and million dollars deal to India.
