5 things that I would do

1. Set aside Rs 10,010 Crores (very small amount) every year to fund 2002 startups every year with 5 Cr each for a stake of 30%, vetted by a lean smart committee (unlike NITI Aayog). That's ~10k companies by 2030.Even if 1% of these become successful unicorns, you have millions of jobs. Make sure to not force them for reservation and select some companies from D2C manufacturing, IOT, Devices and Gen AI

2. Make Taxing simpler. Remove all rayta of HRA, 80 C and all number alphabet combos. Flat Tax structure. 0 for < 10 lakhs (revise this number each year with the same % as retail inflation), 15% for 10-25 lakhs, 25% for 25 to 75 lakhs crore and 35% beyond 75 lakhs.

3. Take 1% for everyone earning more than 25 lakhs over Income tax for a Global Health insurance and for the rest make it free or nominal

4.Stop treating Sarkaari babus as damaads of Taxpayers. Make the government jobs efficient by including firing culture. No Jobs to sons and daughters of govt officials just for random reasons and let them earn it through due process. No forever pension, No Dearness allowance. Pay them all in cash and sell all govt quarters which are on posh lands of any city for a fortune or use that for something more productive. Increase their salary by 3X for all the Babus after firing all inefficient and incompetent babus so that the salary is good enough for them to live good lives without demanding corruption money. Instead of guaranteed jobs, give incompetent babus a 15 month salary and fire them. Upon death No job and pension forever, rather insure them. Grade 4 workers' families to be paid 5 Crore, Grade 3, 7.5 Crores, Grade 2, 10 Crores and Grade 1, 15 Crores and actually more f these seem less. Revise all the numbers every year including salary based on company performance and inflation. Digitize everything and for minor corruption offences, fire them without any notice unlike firing for efficiency when they should get 15 month salary and force them to pay a fine of 10 lakh to 50 lakh depending on the crime over and above recovering any losses to exchequer due to their corruption and seize their properties if needed. For severe corruption offences which cause loss of lives, like faulty roads leading to accidents, hang the responsible Babus to death.

5. MICA - Make India clean Again. Lakshmi Kripa will come only when India is clean. Make street littering a crime. Canning with 100 sticks and 50,000 minimum fine and not just 100 rs. Lane change and other indiscipline drivers to be fined in lakhs with their vehicles seized and drunken driving fined 10 lakhs and if the drunken driving causes death, then hang the culprit. All street shops should use gloves to prepare food and critical food and hygiene check to ensure India's image of street shitters goes away forever.

If Modi does just #1 alone he will live a HUGE legacy behind. If he does all 5, he will become a legend.

While it may still (unfortunately) fly with some people, that number is much smaller than what it used to be n 1991. You’re not going to win any elections based on caste census.
