Remember Summer Days Zine

A Vento Aureo summer zine focused on exploring the characters' relationships, as well as themes of friendship, love, and bittersweet nostalgia. 🌅🌃

Hello again - this is Mod Davy, on behalf of the Remember Summer Days mod team.

[Remember Summer Days Zine @SummerDaysZine]

We are excited to announce that all bundles have been shipped!🎉
Thank you all again for your patience and understanding. Despite everything, this zine turned out truly beautiful; I hope you're as happy with the finished product as I am <333

Another big update: zines are here!
We've also received proofs for the holo print and polaroid. Both have been approved, so we should receive the rest of the batch, along with the postcards, shortly!

[Remember Summer Days Zine @SummerDaysZine]

Good news - our first batch of merch has arrived!

All prints (including the postcards, polaroids, and holo prints), as well as the zines themselves, are expected to arrive by the end of the month. We will keep you updated as we receive more items!

[Remember Summer Days Zine @SummerDaysZine]

On behalf of the mod team, we want to apologize once again for the wait and lack of communication, and thank you all for your patience. Please feel free to reach out to us via DMs or our email ([email protected]) if you have any further questions or concerns.

[Remember Summer Days Zine @SummerDaysZine]

I apologize in advance for the further delay, and will do my best to get these zines in your hands as soon as possible. We will post public updates once everything is ordered, received, and shipped out.

[Remember Summer Days Zine @SummerDaysZine]

In the meantime, we will be sending out digital bundles shortly after this statement is posted. This will include a PDF of the zine, along with some lovely wallpapers from a couple of our incredibly talented artists!

[Remember Summer Days Zine @SummerDaysZine]

I will be taking over Goat’s former duties, including purchasing, packaging, and shipping zines and merch. As we will need to reorder all items, and it is currently a busy time of year for shipping, this may take a few months.

[Remember Summer Days Zine @SummerDaysZine]

As we have lost access to all zine funds, the remaining mods will be funding the production of the zine out-of-pocket. Buyers will receive the bundles they paid for.

[Remember Summer Days Zine @SummerDaysZine]

At the bare minimum, all contributors will receive a physical copy of the zine, and merch artists will also receive the item(s) they created. Mods will be forgoing zines and merch, or paying for it themselves.

[Remember Summer Days Zine @SummerDaysZine]

All that being said, the remaining team members have discussed our next steps, and we are finally able to provide you with the clear, transparent update you all deserve.

[Remember Summer Days Zine @SummerDaysZine]

I, personally, also want to emphasize that the rest of the mod team - Rac, El, Darth, and Beka - have done stellar jobs in their roles, and none of this is their fault. They have all been lovely to work with, and have done everything in their power to keep this zine afloat.

[Remember Summer Days Zine @SummerDaysZine]

This is not a callout post, and we do NOT condone any harassment towards anyone involved.

[Remember Summer Days Zine @SummerDaysZine]

To be clear, we cannot say for certain why we have lost access to the PayPal account. Also, while Goat’s actions are not acceptable, it's not our place to accuse him of foul play - as we have been left in the dark, we can only provide the objective facts as provided above.

[Remember Summer Days Zine @SummerDaysZine]

Hello again - this is Mod Davy, on behalf of the Remember Summer Days mod team.

[Remember Summer Days Zine @SummerDaysZine]

Additionally, the rest of the team has been locked out of our PayPal, which stored all profits meant to fund the zine’s production.

[Remember Summer Days Zine @SummerDaysZine]

To make a long story short, our shipping and finance mod, Goat, has abandoned their mod duties. They have ignored all attempts at communication, via both the zine Discord server and direct contact.

[Remember Summer Days Zine @SummerDaysZine]

I wish I could be bringing you all a better update, but we feel that everyone involved in this project - contributors, buyers, and all who have supported us - deserves full transparency regarding the current situation.

[Remember Summer Days Zine @SummerDaysZine]

Thank you for your patience, The Summer Days Mod Team (4)

[Remember Summer Days Zine @SummerDaysZine]

First of all, we want to extend our sincerest apologies to everyone who has been waiting for the Summer Days zine to be shipped out and distributed. There have been production delays due to our finance / merch mod Goat running into significant personal hardships. (1)

[Remember Summer Days Zine @SummerDaysZine]

Please rest assured that the team is still hard at work in order to fulfill all the orders. We will continue to update you as we have news to share. We are working on a detailed, updated production schedule with new time estimates that will be released by the end of the week. (3)
