All Across America with The American Girls- Day 1 students learned about Pioneer Days with Kirsten in 1854 and the turn of the century in 1904 with Samantha! We made butter and paper dolls! We also began our canvas painting! We learned about quilt making & designed one!
On Day 3 we learned about women’s rights in 1974 with Julie as well as the new millennium 1999 with twins Nicki and Isabel! We made lava lamps, Pizza Hut pizzas for the dolls & finished our canvas painting!
Day 2- students learned about colonial Williamsburg & took a tea lesson like Felicity did! They also learned about struggles and hardships during the Great Depression (Kit) & World War II at Pearl Harbor (Nanea). We made our own Amelia Earhart doll, Victory Garden, & tree house!
Day 4- we learned about girl of the year dolls Lila (2024) & Summer (2025). The girls painted summers dog & learned about entrepreneurship! We also learned about Lila who used perseverance and determination to do 2 sports!
We’re wrapping up with cheers, high-fives, and one last round of epic fun. Thank you to every camper for bringing their sparkle and smarts all week long! 🌟🧠
