@Winchester21107 Not boring, just hasn't really started yet.
Last group games, it will get tasty when it's all or nothing.
Will then really ramp up at last 32 stage.
Dear 'The World',
Can you please just enjoy the World Cup without endlessly referencing players who play, played for, or have a tenuous link to your league football team.
Its just w**k!
The crack between Guy Mowbray and Alan Shearer, during the Brazil v Morocco game, is exactly how it should be.
A begrudging respect, a rivalry, between our clubs.
Most people observe this anyway....more should.
@JamesCopley_ I wouldn't worry James. Most readers will digest what you've written, agree and move on. A tiny minority will see it, through lack of understanding and/or bitter rivalry, as a dig. They will dig back. Don't be offended by this tiny minority and carry on writing.
🤔 𝗗𝗜𝗗 𝗬𝗢𝗨 𝗞𝗡𝗢𝗪? In 2024, Newcastle United had no plans to sell Elliot Anderson. However, the club was forced into a difficult position by the Premier League’s Profit and Sustainability Rules (PSR).
Rather than cashing in on established first-team stars, Newcastle opted to sell two of their brightest young prospects: Elliot Anderson and Yankuba Minteh.
Anderson’s £35M transfer was especially valuable from an accounting perspective. As a homegrown academy product, the entire fee counted as pure profit on the club’s books, giving Newcastle a significant PSR boost.
Financially, the move may have made sense at the time. But now, it looks like one of the biggest mistakes in modern football.
@Philip_RJ89 Agree...along with Hume he's a key player able to cover 4 different positions to an extremely high standard.
As pivotal as the Le Fée signing following his stellar loan spell.
@EthDam073@UnderTheLight73 Agree Ethan. Talbi and Rigg already factored in. We will be fine in wide positions.
Where do you see reinforcements needed?
I'd like to keep Wilson and sign a 3rd striker.
Also another Centre half, a left back and a holding Centre mid.

Not only is it an honuour for SAFC to have 10 players at the 2026 World Cup, its also like having 10 scouts or influencers there as well.
Have a great time lads.
@Philip_RJ89 I really rated him. Never got to see him as an out and out wing back, he'd be great in that position. Owes us nothing and I wish DC all the very best.
